I mean I love to draw and think there is a future in art. But I couldn't

afford college and didn't want a big loan hanging over me.

Does anyone know how I could get my art noticed?

I will pick the most unique or my favorite answer!

I asked for help because of my teenage daughter?

I was really wanting encouragement and love and understanding?

But I got judgements and I was told that I wasn't being a very good mother.

And who are you to tell me I can't be a friend to my daughter?

Have you lived in my shoes? You criticize and think you know everything!

This is a site to come and truely help others not make them feel worse than when they came.

I can't respond to each answer but being a parent isn't easy! I have raised 2 boys already thank you very much! 24 &21 and they are good people, and they know how to repect me and obey!

Children still have freedom of will too ya know and you can't change that one!

So thanks for trying to help me but you really didn't! Please use your words carefully because you can affect someone's life greatly by your responses!:(

I am 47 and my teenage daughter is 16.

We are pretty close and usually get along but over the past 2 years she has really rebelled and acts like she doesn't care?

When I ask her to help out by washing dishes or whatever it is she says no not right now!

Also she has left for overnights and one weekend so far and she didn't come home?

I feel that I have been a very good mother and have given to her in so many ways. And I have tried to correct her too in times of need. But I didn't always believe in spanking her I used talking and reasoning with her more than my husband. He used to correct our boys but when it came to her he said he didn't want to spank her to hard or hurt her.

She would usually have things taken away like ipod,computer,or being grounded from going anywhere and of course the phone.

She is gone now because my husband told her unless she obeys she can't live here! I miss her terribly and am hurting and don't know what to do now?

Does anyone agree with this or not?

If I want to tell my husband something he shouldn't get all upset?

He tells the kids and I things all the time?

What if every time he told us things we got mad?

I just don't get it ,men stick together no matter what?

I asked a question earlier and some men responded like he would?

Why? Because they are men?

Then how can we women communicate with our husbands if they react like this?

What choices do we women have? If we have to walk on egg shells?

If something is wrong no matter what it is we should be able to talk about it?

Any more opinions?

And I simply asked you not to lay your shoes on top of mine would you get mad?Isn't it kind of silly?

I'm upset because I shouldn't have to tell him this; but he does it every day!

Isn't marriage suppose to be honest and open and shouldn't we be able to

tell our husband's these things?
