Girlfriend loves me and agrees we are soulmates. But hates my daughter. What do I do?
We have been together 3 years it has been wonderful. But she has dumped me several times in 3 years as she can’t stand my daughter . My daughter is lovely and everyone else loves my daughter even though she has mild autism
I told my girlfriend I can’t continue an on off relationship I want her to commit to me or I will not speak to her again . What’s best to do here as I love her to death and it’s not a problem between the two of us , rather between girlfriend and daughter .

10 AnswersChristmas5 years agoWife caused all kinds of problems - what to do?
She had an affair during marriage for 3 years. She has made up lies that I was violent, and got me thrown out of my own house using an occupation order without me being present in court. This is so her lover can move into my house. He refuses to pay me rent. It is my house in my sole name and she has never worked. What shall i do?

1 AnswerOther - General Health Care6 years agoCoughing/ sneezing at work making everyone ill?
We have a guy at work who coughs or sneezes every minute of a 9 hour day. He has been doing this Monday - Friday for about 4 weeks now if not more
We are in a small office of 20 people
It is very distracting and hard to concentrate
Also it has made most of the people in the office ill also, in that about half are now sneezing regularly/ taking medicines and one girl was off sick for 3 days becasue of it
I am personally getting annoyed because I do sport and need to be fit and I care a lot about my health and well being whereas he is fat and clearly not looking after himself.
Why should I have to breath his germs all day, be distracted all day and watch the whole office suffer because of his selfishness?
What is the best thing to do about this/ are there any laws?
Thanks

3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoWife is obsessed about her mother - what can i do?
The whole time she nags me to get her Mother to live with us. I give list of reasons why this is bad (she breaks us apart, she takes over house, she is in the way, its not private, i didnt marry her mum etc) but she wont give up on it.
I finally agreed to invite her Mum to stay for a short whle, just to stop the nagging, but it has made no difference.
Now the conversation is "my Mum will do this, and that, she is this and that"
It is driving me nuts
I have also said "why did you marry me if really you want to live with your mum??" (we have been married 7 years now and have a 5 year old daughter by the way)
How do I get her to shut up about her Mum/ get her Mum out of the spotlight?
7 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoTurntable for hi-fi 15 year old?
I have a quite expensive Hi-Fi which is now 15 years old. I want to know if I can put a brand new turntable on it and it will work or not?
The Hi-Fi was Aiwa Z-D95M. The turntable has 2 output lines (red and black) and these are shaped like a small tulip with an inner protruding pin
I only want it for listening to old vinyl records at home
Thanks

4 AnswersFamily1 decade agoAutism epidemic - when will the authorities acknowledge it and start reversing it?
How long before people take notice?
1 in 15000 20 years ago is now 1 in 80 - that means in UK 80,000 children every year diagnosed with autism, compared to 80 20 years ago.
By the way it is NOT mis-diagnosis - do you know 20% of autistic people do not speak ever, a further 50% do not speak until 6-8 years old, 20% have chronic seizures...these are not things that wouldnt be noticed !!!!!!!
The epidemic is here and growing - when will government start acting on solving the issue (prob triggered by chemicals, food additives and vaccines)
4 AnswersOther - Health & Beauty1 decade agoBanks - do they make any money from direct debits?
For example I have direct debits for gas, electricity, water, council tax etc etc. The banks are always so happy to set these up - but WHY?
Do the electric, gas, water companies etc pay the banks a little % commission every month for paying the direct debit??
3 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoClass system do you agree - this is now reality again due to UK divorce laws?
The fact that 50/50 split of assets on divorce is the starting point, even if couple have only been married one day and even if one party was a millionaire and the other penniless. This now means people will only marry others who have the same assets and prospects as them (the same amount to lose if divorce occurs) - ie the class system is back again.
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDoctors (UK) - why dont they seem to know anything at all or give any help with illnesses?
We have a daughter (age 3) who is not speaking, diagnosed as autistic.
National Autism Society and 50 other sites state things you can do which help, eg extra vitamin B6/Mg, DMG, fish oil, Vit C, etc etc - there are thousand of children who have been helped/ cured by doing this. NAS site says 50% of children benefit and there are no side effects, as do 50 other sites
I asked Doctor for safe limits for these vitamins, and he took months finally saying he doesnt recommend anything, and nothing works, and he will not tell me limits because he doesnt recommend anything (and has no suggestions at all to help - zero) - this is my child - why are doctors so ignorant - he is a senior Child Specialist at a massive UK hospital by the way and well regarded
10 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoWomen - what do you do when they expect you to solve every problem in their life?
All night and day this woman im living with finds a new problem - she's ill with something, she wants this job or hobby, she's got no friends etc etc... and she maons all eveing about it expecting ME to solve her life for her rather than HER to get out there and make a go of things - whats the tactful way to tell her this ?
8 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoLazy partner?
How do you persuade your partner (in this case wife) to pull her weight in a marriage if she just wants to be lazy and do almost nothing? She seems to start things and then just give up (no staying power). Divorce is not an option so dont mention it please
More details: She doesnt earn any money/ do a "job", and is not looking having been not chosen for one interview; she refuses to learn to drive after having a few lessons which went fine and then giving up; she sleeps in same bed as her toddler then says that is her job done (the toddler going to our 24/7 live in nanny the rest of the day); she speaks some english but has dropped out of any course I have enrolled her on; she doesnt cook (the nanny does it); she does a small amount of cleaning, she does the food shopping (via internet), buys all toddlers clothes (with my money) and irons.
How can I motivate her to do anything else - she goes bezerk (like a box of fireworks) no matter how subtlely I try and broach the subject
7 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoPartner going out alone?
What do you think about this? My partner (we are married) went out on Saturday with girlfriends midday and didnt get back til 10pm. She spent all today in bed. She didnt even discuss it first just said she was going out (she has already been out twice this week)
So i had to look after our child all weekend and have had no time with wife at all
I said to her you should spend most time with the one you love ie me, but she wouldnt listen
I am the only earner in our house so work all week just to have weekend with the family and wife - she doesnt work and also we have a full time nanny
is it only me that thinks this is unreasonable?
38 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoSpeech delay in toddlers?
Our daughter is in a bilingual family.
She is exactly 3 years old and shes not really saying anything.
Does anyone have similar experience and know how to sort it out?
We read, speak, she is normal with everything else and advanced with things like colouring, building, physical games, shes tall 95th percentile, she looks just beautiful, she friendly and very happy.
She just started nursery 3 days a week, and we have groups of social workers now beginnning to get involved.
Her hearing is fine, and she understands lots of phrases we speak and does what we say frequently
Only words she can say are : daddy, mumma, and then mumbling ball, trousers. toy, and a few others
10 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhy is yahoo answers a sexist forum?
I asked the same question first about wife not being good in bed and then husband not being good in bed (and how to help in both cases)
When the husband is not good in bed there are 12 nice replies saying speak, be tactful, find needs etc
When the wife is not good in bed there are 5 really insulting replies saying its the mans fault and not the womans, and accusing the man of being a total unfeeling bstd who needs to reed books as it is his fault!
So this forum is therefore sexist assuming women can never be at fault - so whats the point in asking any questions if the forum is that biased?
