Why do I have to poop every time I eat?
I have been having this problem since shortly after having my gall bladder removed. I eat. And within 20 minutes, sometimes while I'm eating still, I have to excuse myself to use a restroom. This happens every time I eat. I am starting to get a little concerned that my body isn't processing nutrients correctly. What could cause this?
1 AnswerOther - Health6 years agoRecently let go and now company wants second opinion on workman's comp??
My father in law was recently let go from his job (last week) and surgery was scheduled for tomorrow. Today the insurance company called and had surgery cancelled because the company is now asking for a second opinion. They are now selecting a doctor for him to obtain the second opinion. Does he have a right to ask for 2-3 doctors of their choice and then pick one? He is extremely upset that this was already approved by the company and now that they let him go, they are asking for another opinion and delaying him even further from being able to get back to work. thanks for any help!
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoMy 14 month old has had diarrhea for a week now, what can i do to help fix it?
My daughter has had diarrhea for a week now and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. She started last week, when she threw up 3 times in one day, and the next day she only threw up once, but on the third day, she had stopped with that. And her happily little spirited self was back. She is very playful and seems to be back into a normal routine. But she has not stopped pooping. And its very watery and pretty frequent. Is there anything I can do to help her get past this?
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby8 years agoWhat can i do if the home i rent was foreclosed on and i was supposed to renew my lease?
I am currently renting a home and had been recieving letters about the home going into foreclosure. I asked my landlord about it and he always kind of side stepped around the issue. Well, He ended up letting the bank foreclose on the home. And that happened on November 12th. I had been waiting for my landlord to come by with a new lease. My guess is, he cant, so he never did. I tried to call the number on the notice that was sent but they didnt give me much helpful information. My landlord has moved into another house and told us to stay until we get kicked out if we wanted to. But we have 4 kids and its winter time. So, I'm not sure what to do. Can we just pay the bank rent and stay there? Or take over mortgage payments? I'm not sure what rights we have since our lease has since expired, but was still in effect when the house was foreclosed on. thanks

2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 years agoWhat happens to your tax return in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy?
A friend of mine at work has filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Her lawyer told her that since they are on a 36 month pay plan, that the trustee will get all of the refunds for the next 3 years. Another lady I work with filed for Chapter 7, and they did not hold any of her refunds. The woman who filed was told that she should change what she claims to get more money on her checks now, because she will not see her refund. She does not owe the IRS any money, and since she is on a payment plan that is directly taken out of her check, she doesnt understand how they can keep her money. Can someone plese clear this up for us :) We should probably get back to work. Thanks so much for all of your help

3 AnswersUnited States10 years agoBeing sued for soliciting employees?
Just reposting in a different forum....hoping for more answers:
Ok, so I just got word that my former employer is suing me for recruiting/soliciting his employees. And yes, I did sign a non compete. I am not of management status, and I didn't seek out his employees. When I gave my notice, he sent me home that day. And wished me well, i told him i thought he has a good vision for his business, he hugged me and said good luck, and things were fine. A week after I started my new job, a former co-worker texted me asking how things were. I said they were great and she asked if my company was hiring. I said I wasn't sure, but she could look on the website. Which she did. She submitted her resume, got an interview and got hired. My employer never asked my opinion, never asked me to be a reference, and kept me out of the process. Can he really sue me for her getting hired here?
Oh, and as far as the non compete goes. I used to be in sales. I work for a company in the same industry, but i no longer do sales. And the other girl had a different title at his place of employment, and will have completely different responsibilities at the new company. Her incentive for coming wasn't because I work here, but because they offered her a bigger salary and better hours. The non compete states that we can't work at a competetor, but illinois deems the contract invalid because it restricts us using previous skills obtained at our previous employer. Thanks for any help.

5 AnswersLaw & Legal10 years agoHow long is too long for a fever to last?
Ok, so it's kind of late at night but I'm hoping to get a few answers. My two year old has had a fever for 10 days now. It started 10 days ago around 102, this past friday, saturday, sunday, and monday, his fever spiked to 104. On Saturday, I got worried, and we were nowhere near our home or his pediatrician so I took him to the Walgreens take care clinic. The said nothing was wrong and just to push some fluids if i could. On monday he was so lathargic and his fever wouldn't go down and he was in a complete daze so I took him to the e.r. They ran a blood test and a chest x-ray and said nothing was wrong. They had suggested that i wasn't giving him enough Motrin. I know to alternate meds from motrin to tylenol every three hours...as Evan is my third child. But the chart basically said according to his weight, 7 ml of motrin and 6.5 ml of tylenol is what he should be getting. so i have done this. it is now Wednesday night. His fever is still at 102 degrees and he is still up all night crying and coughing. And just miserable. Am I overreacting, or is this too long for him to have had a fever like this? If the doctors say he's ok, then should i just let it be? Or is ok to be a bit concerned? Thanks for any help or advice!

1 AnswerInfectious Diseases1 decade agoFirst time to Vegas...where should i stay?
So my husband and I finally decided that we are going to take a vacation. Neither of us has ever been to vegas, so thats where we have decided to go. We are thinking of staying at the Mirage...looks like they have some pretty good rates for our dates of travel (april 29th to May 3rd). We have airfare taken care of already. I was wondering if anyone had any reviews to offrer on the hotel, or perhaps a suggestion of another place to stay. We are a young couple and we have 3 kids, so The bellagio is definately out. Thanks for all your help!

ok so i am asking this for my sister. My water never broke on its own so i have no idea. 3 kids and you think i would know. Ok so she has slowly been losing her plug for some time now. Brown/pink streaks of blood in it. And for the past two days now she has been noticing her underwear has been wet. Today she had some discharge (yellow/green in color) very thick. And her underwear was rather wet. she didn't pee herself, it just ends up wet. She has random contractions bot nothing to a pattern. Could she slowly be leaking fluid?
16 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoMy 9 month old has a reaction to the sun?
Ok so I know about the common heat rash...my first two kids got it when they were younger. But my third child is nine months old and has really bad reactions. When he gets hot he gets really upset, he screams, he cries, he gets tiny pimple like red spots on his skin and the larger patches look excema like and are red and scaly. I was wondering what i could do to help my son. The minute the sun touches him he cries and he is really uncomfortable. Thanks for any suggestions
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoSo why do i feel like this?
Ok so i took a pregnancy test that came out positive. A few days later it was negative. I went to the doctor and he suggested that it could have been a chemical pregnancy. I was a little un easy when i found out it was positive...i mean i have three kids already and had no idea how i would handle a fourth. But now that i have this news i am kind of saddened by it.
A little bit of a background. I have three kids under three right now. They are quite the handful. And we weren't planning another one. We are getting married September of this year. When I saw the positive I was a bit scared...I wanted to cry. I know how overwhelmed I am already...but then again what mother of multiples isn't? And now that i know i'm not pregnant...i'm kind of sad. Why is this? I know I want more kids. I consider it a blessing being able to have children...i love kids. So even though this is probably for the better....i'm still upset. and i have no idea why
3 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoOne test positive and then got my period?
So I was due to get my period on March 23rd. I took first response on the 19th and it came out positive. Two days later...I got my period. I took another test and it was negative. The first test was clearly positive. Clearly. Why would it have been positive and then two days later I have my period. Which by the way is reagular flow. Maybe even a little heavier.
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoI can't find my dress anywhere online?
Ok So random question. I have been looking for pictures of my dress online...and I absolutely can't find a picture of it anywhere. If any of you are computer geniuses out there and you can help me i would really appreciate it. The designer is P.C. Mary's and the style number is 7940. I bought it from House of brides. 8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoPotty training tips please!?!?!?
Well my son turned two this past June. Tomorrow he will be 2 years and 4 months. He doesn't seem interested at all in the potty. lol...he still thinks peeing in the bathtub is cool. I was just wondering the easiest way to get him started. I want to ease him into it. I have heard of people just letting them wet themselves and I don't want to do that. I want to ease him into it. Any tips/advice would help. I would also love to hear your stories on potty training.
