  • What part are they making? Aluminum part?

A company that sells turbo related and performance parts posted a picture saying that they received a chunk of 6.25" diameter of aluminum and asked what does everyone think they are going to make with it? Winner gets a prize

  • Could I get compensation for this?

A few weeks ago I got workers compensation because I got my hand crushed in a machine at work, and i didn't break any bones or tear any ligaments but I lost feeling in my finger tips (I would assume due to nerve damage) I can still use my hand but if time goes by and I don't get feeling back in my finger tips, could I go to court and get a settlement/compensation?

  • I'm installing a new transmission. What else should I do?

im replacing the whole new transmission. Is there any other parts around the transmission that should be replaced as well?

  • How many hours would it take to install these parts?

I'm going to be taking my car to the shop a few different times over the next few months and I'm trying to add up how many hours each job takes to install parts so I can add up how much the labor will cost.

1: Big brake kit. Includes everything. Rotors, calipers, brake line, pads.

    2. Brand new transmission, axles, forged clutch fork

  • Personal loan?

If you were to give an educated guess, how much money should I expect to get in a personal loan? I don't have any credit, but I've worked at my job for 6 months, I have pay stubs to prove that I make on average $1,200 (after taxes) every 2 weeks, and my only bills are my car insurance which is $150 and my phone bill which is $50. How much of a personal loan would you think I could get?

  • What kind of drag radial/tire should I get?

I have an SRT-4 that will have between 550 and 575 horsepower and I'd say around 500lbs of torque.. I won't take it to the drag strip at all, I'll mainly only drive it on nice days and will only street race. I obviously want a tire that will ride good on the road but a tire that will allow me to keep good traction in a street race. thank you!

  • What all aftermarket parts should I buy to build my transmission?

I'm building my car to over 500whp and I've built the motor, but next I'm building the transmission. Other than a clutch Pivot ball (made of brass), a forged clutch fork, stronger clutch, forged shift selector and extender (for all gears), and stronger input shaft, what all else should I buy to make sure my transmission won't fail with a higher horsepower and torque?

  • Could i get a loan?

I'm 18 years old and have no credit, but I have 6 months worth of paystubs that I can prove my income and can prove that I can easily pay off a loan. I make $18.50 and always work at least 40 hours a week, usually around 45. Would I be able to get a $5,000 personal loan? I'm trying to finish my car sooner

I've seen on the product description online that it can handle 35psi but I've heard from some people that it will leak at 35psi of boost.

  • Will this fix my problem?

My mechanic said I need a new motor because my motor is making very low compression. Well I plan to build my car to a higher horsepower so I'm going to put top end and bottom end engine rebuild kits into my car and ported cylinder heads. Will that fix my low compression as well?

    7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs5 years ago
  • Do I need a new motor or will these kits work?

So my cylinder 1 and 3 in my SRT-4 have very low compression so my mechanic suggested I get a whole new motor. I plan to drive my car for a long time and want to build it to 500hp. I've found the stage 4 turbo kit that will take it to 500hp and It suggests a bottom end rebuild kit so that your bottom end holds up with 500hp. Well I was gonna get a top end AND bottom end engine rebuild kit, just to make sure my engine holds up perfectly fine with 500hp. So I'm definitely buying my top end engine rebuild kit AND bottom end engine rebuild kit, but my question is, do I need to buy a whole new motor, THEN buy the rebuild kits? Or wil I fix my engines low cylinder compression problems with the top end and bottom end rebuild kits? I'm very confused. Help!!
