I contacted a woman that I know is gonna be used by a man because she is well established and is deceiving her beyond measures. She says thanks for the information and nothing further. Do you really think she appreciates me telling her the truth

I have been beaten and used in ways I never saw coming by someone I once loved. He gets to go off and live well while I attempt to recover. I finally stood up for myself but the justice system is so slow. How do you recover knowing someone can get away with treating you in this way and the justice system not seeing through it? I keep following up with the investigator, but I am losing faith. Knowing he would be held accountable for his actions would help in recovering. I've done so much for this person and I ask how does he not feel bad deep down inside about it.

I discovered how deceptive a person was. We've known each other for over a decade. Just recently he physically, mentally and emotionally hurt me. How do I learn to forgive so I can move forward? I was physically choked and beaten because he thought I knew of his intentions to be with another all the while using me to get it.

Would you accept someone's apology who says they know it doesn't fix everything and they never meant to hurt you? If this person made calculating moves that were intentional. From being deceptive, abusive and using you beyond words. How do you forgive? Would you be able to forgive?
