Is it rude to decline being part of the bridal party for my brother's wedding? He's my only sibling..?
My younger, and only, brother has just announced his engagement. Prior to this, I last saw him at Easter - so we're not that close. His fiancee's family are in another country, and not sure yet what the wedding plans will be, but I'd like to be prepared if he asks me to be bridesmaid. I'm not that thrilled by the idea but wonder if there's a polite way of declining, or if I just have to bite the bullet and do it?
11 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoDo you live with a partner who's a shift worker? What are your sleeping arrangements?
My man is on a 24/7 rotating roster, and we've been together a year now so I'm starting to look to the future. I'm curious to hear from people in a similar scenario who live together whether you try to share the same bed? Or do you sleep in separate rooms depending on the roster? What would you recommend - basically what works and what doesn't?
2 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHow to care for agapanthus plant?
An amateur gardening question! My agapanthus plant burst into flower early Dec (southern hemisphere summer). Now the flowers are gone, but the giant stalk and buds remain. In other gardens I see agapanthus with the stalks now removed. Should I cut it off or leave it?
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoMatt Damon/Minnie Driver?
I want to check I'm remembering this right, especially since now he's all dashing and gorgeous. When doing publicity for Good Will Hunting, he was still dating Minnie Driver, and then she realised it was over when he announced during an interview that he was single? Not very sexiest man alive behaviour...!
3 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoVolkswagen Polo window stuck down - any clues for how to get the window back up again?
It's my drivers side window, so I can't secure the car or go anywhere until its fixed! I don't want to do it again, but if I press the down button the window disappears completely. Then when you press up, the window rises almost enough to grab hold of (but not quite!), and won't go any further.
I'm not super technical, so any advice in basic english is much appreciated!
