  • Is it a really bad sign when the guy you like...?

    Does not answer a text? It sounds stupid but when i talk to him in person i almost feel like he likes me but then like twice i have texted him and he didn't answer (once in the past, once yesterday) and we have had regular texting conversations in between. Am i reading too much into this or am i really just bothering him?

    So I like this guy and he is close friends with one of my friends (they have lockers next to eachother and the same schedual). My friend knows I like him and claims that whenever they talk it seems to be about me, he always says nice things to... but i'm not sure if he likes me cause then i started to think sometimes when i talk to him we talk about her but he is usually teasing her, putting her down but in a funny lighthearted manner... Is this a sign he likes me or just nothing?

    I am currently reovering from anorexia but i have been at a normal weight for at least a month, i current;y weight 110, 5'2". i do not want to loose weight or anything and i have no problem with feeding my body but latley i have been eating ALOT, especially snacks (like an half a pound bag of pretzles with globs of peanut butter on each as an addition to my normal snack of a pear and wheat thins) and I have no idea whyyyy sometimes i am not even very hungry and its just binging but sometimes i just am soo hungry i have gained like anothr 2 pounds in a few days and i do not want to get all fat What are some healthy filling vegan snacks ( also breakfast lunch and dnner would be very helpful so i don't get so hungry in between.   • Help balancing a vegan diet?

    I am 14 and I want to go vegan but i know i need help balancing out my diet. I have been a vegetarian fo r a long time and i try to eat really healthy food i try to eat alot of protien in the form of dairy products, soy and some nuts but i still feel like i eat too much carbs in comparison to fats and protien. How do you vegans keep your diet balanced? Also i am trying to stay away from refined sugar and sweets but i feel like eating friut all the time and yogurt is not keeping me full? can i have some snack/ simple meal ideas?

  • Ideas; vegan, healthy, and fast?

    I have been a vegetarian for a few years now and i REALLY want to go vegan. The only problem is my mom is very strict about how i have to eat right now and she likes me to eat a lot of dairy, the only kind of milk substitue i like is almond milk but it has close to no protien so, she won't like that plus i eat alot of greek yogurt (plain), i will not eat the soy yogurts cause they always have so much added sugar and rediculous carbs sooo how can i subliment for this in other ways? or convince my mom that furits veggies, nut butter, and whole grains are the most important stuff in a healthy diet? also so healthy convienent foods would be great, like Breakfast, lunch, supper, ans snack ideas that are healthy but quick and easy cause i have like no time

    im 14, i guess my hearts kind of weak, i dont exercise much and im not overweight or anything but ive never eaten this much before in the past are now i eat this

    at least 2 cups of 2% milk

    2 spoons of almond butter throughout the day plus a tbs or more of sunbutter

    some healthy fat at supper (olive oil or avocado usually somtimes smart balance)

    2 cup of plain 2% greek yogurt

    plus a little treat of dessert (bowl of ice cream, piece of cake, cookies, ect.)

    i also eat lots of fruits, grains (cereal bread and usually one potato), and some sort of veggie meat replacement (i dont eat meat) plus i usually have like 2 other sncaks throughout the day (crackers, cheddar bunnies, kashi granaloa bars)

    so is this not healthy? or good for my heart?

  • Should i be eating like this? i need help?

    im trying to gain weight because i recently recovered from anorexia and still only weight like 98lbs at 5'2" age 14. ive eating all the protien and grains and dairy and fruit that my nutritionist is pushing on me but in order to gain weight ive also been eating alot of crap. like cake or ice cream or a brownie or something everynight. i'll obviusly go back to having these things like only once a week when i get back to a healthy weighht but i was wondering if eating all this crap even to gain weight is not healthy and will lead to more health risks?

    please dont say i still anorexic for worrning about this, im not im tired of this b.s. and havent weighed myself or counted calories for weeks

    i was wondering if my diet is balanced carb/fat/protein wise, i know i don't eat meat and i wont, i know i dont eat many veggies because they have low nutritional value overall and i know i eat ALOT of calories cause im a growing girl and im trying to gain weight but seriouosly is this healthy?

    Breakfast: big bowl of cereal (3/4 cup kashi go lean original+3/4 cup plain cheerios+1 cup 1% milk) with raisins and an apple or pear

    Snack: 100 calorie pack almonds

    Lunch: a 2% plain greek yogurt, another fruit (oragnge or blueberries), sandwich on wheat bread with peanut butter/ almond butter/sunbuttter, baby carrots, kashi crackers or 1/2 cup cheddar bunnies, 100% juice box

    SNack: carnation instant breakfast packet in 1% milk, granola bar or chocolate bunnie crackers, more blueberries

    Dinner: 6 veggie meatballs or 4 veggie nuggets, baked potato with smart balance, or roasted potato or whole wheat pasta with sauce and vegan ground crumbles, more milk, sometimes some brocolli

    Dessert: Ice cream, a bowl of it

    im a vegetarian who eats healthy foods all the time and im kind of bored with my kashi bars, late july chips, and annie's animal crackers so what are some healthy vegan snacks that you like? im saying vegan cause i don't want animal bi products but as long as thier organic dairy is ok. referably not gluten free cause the it's made with all those weird flours :P thanks in advance

    I'm trying to gain weight but am having trouble getting in enough cals. I'm 14 5'2" this is what I ate today

    Breakfast: 1 apple, 1/2 cup of plain cheerios, 1 cup kashi go lean original, 1cup milk and some raisins (not a full serving)

    Snack: about half of a 100 cal pack of almonds didn't have tome to eat them All

    Lunch: 1 whole wheat goldfish flatbread with 4 slices of vegan turkey, 1 2% Fage plain yogurt with a few blue berries, about a serving of kashi whole grain crackers

    Snack: 1/2 cup of 2% Fage, bear naked granola mixed in, baby carrots

    Supper: 1 morning star veggie burger, 2 slices of lite whole wheat bread ( it was the only kind my grandma had) some salad with oil and viniagr, some broccoli, 1% milk

    After: I felt like I hadn't eatin enough so I had those annies brand chocolate graham cracker bunnies, a bowl of vanilla ice cream (regular fat level)

    Did I eat enough cals overall for weight gain or no :( I'm trying sooooo hard but like idk...

    I'm a vegetarian who is very health conscious. I'm also a growing girl so I try to get enough protien, I eat alot of soy products like vegan cold it's with soy cheese for lunch on many days and then for supper I have like a veggie meatballs or a boca burger or something and I'd like to lay off the soy cause I've heard it can lead to thyroid disease but my mom is very strict about me getting enough protien and I don't wanna have like peanut butter alll th time cause it's high in fat and I have nuts for snacks often. And beans all the time might alot of carbs and might get old... So what can I eat that's healthy
