  • Need help in choosing Memory and Video cards.?

    I understand that is a stupid question but I really need to understand what would be the better choice for performance?

    a) 2 x DIMM, Max. 4 GB, DDR3 1333 or

    b) 4 x DIMM, max. 8GB, DDR2 1066.

    I mean 8 obviouslyy seems better, but other option kinda faster and a bit more modern. So what is a really best choice here?

    Another dilemma is video, so I has choose between:

    1. GeForce GT 630 810Mhz PCI-E 2.0 4096Mb 1100Mhz

    2. GeForce GTX 650 1058Mhz PCI-E 3.0 1024Mb 5000Mhz

    3. GeForce GTX 650 Ti 928Mhz PCI-E 3.0 1024Mb 5400Mhz

    And here's I'm not aware what is really more important amount of video memory or other aspects?

    Please do not suggest other options, unfortunately my motherboard not supporting anything better.

    Now relax here, I know it ages old and most probably gonna say that best would be to throw it under a steamroller, but the question if it's possible to use any PCI-E 3.0 video cards with it? Or if not what would be best PCI-E 2.0 card possible to use with it?
