I'm applying to volunteer at a local air ambulance charity shop. But I'm stuck on how to answer two questions on the application form.

Why would you like to join our support crew (volunteer) for the air ambulance service?

What skills and/or work experience do you have, that could be utilised?

The only skill I have is getting an A in GCSE statistics early (I'm only 14.) And I don't know what to put for why I'm volunteering, as it all sounds painfully cheesy. Any help would be much appreciated :)

My school's sports day is tomorrow and I've put myself down for 300m. The only problem is that I've never ran that distance before. I used to run 100m and 200m, which was a full out sprint.But 300m is a bit longer so I have no idea how to pace myself. Any ideas? Thanks xxx

I have a 15 gallon tank.

Would a single American Flag fish and 5 white cloud mountain minnows be okay?

Some people say the flag fish is very aggressive and would attack/ kill the minnows. Would they work together or not? Is my tank too small? Thanks :)

I have three white cloud mountain minnows in a twenty gallon tank- two males and one female. The males seem to flare at each other and the bigger one appears to chase the female around the tank. I plan to add six more minnows later on in stages but I don't want to ammonia level to spike if I add too many. Also, I now realise I should have asked for two females and one male at the pet shop but I was exited and wasn't thinking strait at the time. Anyway, I'm rambling and new to all this. Do you think there is a possibility my female minnow is pregnant? If so, should I treat her differently?

Lets say there is a really nice man who spends his whole life helping the poor and basically being totally selfless. But he doesn't believe in God. Would he be able to go to heaven? I'm just wondering.

Hello :) Anywhoo,I'm doing Bronze DofE and need some opinions on what to do for my physical section. I did ballet, then failed. Started karate but my friend quit and as I am very shy I was to scared to carry on alone. I just want an easy sport to do which doesn't involve lots of social interaction. It's not because I hate people, I just have aspergers and a stammer. Any good ideas on what sports I could do? Thanks :)

I put three new plants in my tank about four days ago and two of them seem to be doing fine. But my plant at the front (sorry but I don't know its name's) leaves are turning brown and falling off. I've used a liquid fertiliser and they are planted in gravel. I've not got any fish in the tank and don't really want to add them until my plants are okay. What am I doing wrong? Should I remove the dying plant or will it be okay?

I am considering purchasing a 20L fish tank and I'll be putting live plants in it, along with lots of ornaments for the fish to explore/ hide in. However, I'm not really sure what cold water fish to get as I've never kept any fish before. What fish would you recommend for that tank size? I like the look of Betta fish but would they work in a community tank? I ideally want to keep more than one kind of fish.

It's £28 a month for two 45 minute sessions a week. I'm just checking because I don't want my parents to be paying too much as we're short of money at the moment. They said it's a reasonable price but I'm just checking. Thanks :)

Me and a friend have signed up to try out a free karate class on Monday (just to see what it's like and we'll probably check out several schools in out area, to see which is best for us.) But my dad doesn't want me to go. He has always pushed me into what he considers more feminine sports like ballet and trampolining. I really want to give karate a go as it looks fun and will hopefully make me more fit too. How can I persuade him to let me give it a try? Thanks :)

I'm doing Latin for my skill section for bronze d of e. But I was wondering at what point do they start counting the activities from? Because the course stops in two months time and I don't have anything else to do for my skill section. Thanks :)
