So, me and my Mom share a laptop. It's recently been experiencing some problems, and her usual fix is to run a system restore (IE, destroying everything on the laptop created after a certain date) to a point where the problems didn't exist.

However, I have recently bought Elder Scrolls 4 on Steam (for 7 bucks, a nice deal), and I'm wondering if a system restore will delete my saved games, or if the actual saves are stored with my Steam account, and thus in no real danger.

If they are, what's the best way to back them up onto a hard copy?

So I'm looking for a guitar controller to ask for, for Xmas. I'm a fan of the Rock Band 2 design (fret buttons that are integrated into the neck, instead of the Guitar Hero styled ones that pop out), but the basic RB2 guitar is $70 new, which I find a tad absurd. So here's my requirements.

By profiles, I mean having a seperate account for the browser. Ex - one person can have their own favorites in the top bar, but another person's profile can have another set of favorites in that spot.

To paraphrase, Limbaugh claimed that the recent attack of a white student by black students on a bus - which police reported were not racially motivated - was due to "Obama's America", which exists only to repress white people.

He then claimed we need to bring back racially segregated schoolbuses, to protect the white students.

Why do so many Conservatives still like this madman? He's blatantly racist, yet a good ammount of Republicans still hold him as a saint.

I'm at the Omega Pirate (right before the Phazon Suit) in the first Metroid Prime. In ordecer to beat him, you nee to fire Super Missles at his four weak points. However, due to the odd placement of the missle button on the Wiimote, I find it hard to actually fire a super missle. And when I do, I can't seem to hit it consistantly. I am locking on, and I'm a reasonable distance away. Tips?

For those not in the know, 4chan is a contriversial online community, where pornography is passed around in the way most people use a semicolon.

Earlier today, AT&T blocked access to the site (specifically the image boards) for people using their DSL service.

Now, in their defense, AT&T allegedly blocked it because users were issuing DDoS attacks (Denial of Service attacks), which takes up a huge amount of bandwidth. So they blocked the site off entirely. (rather than just penalizing the people who issued the attacks & ate the bandwidth).

Is this censorship, or a fair move on AT&T's part?

I've had my Razor 1 for 2 years now, and it's almost time to upgrade. Here's the specifics-

- I'm on T-Mobile

- Next phone should cost under $150 (coming off an existing contract)

- I'll use it mostly for texting, quick web access (Twitter/Facebook), and phone calls

- Full QWERTY keyboard a must

- Touchscreen and/or camera would be nice, but not necessary.

I'm looking to register there, and for whatever reason you cannot use a "free" email service. However, I know of no other type. What else is there?
