Considering we as humans are flawed creatures.

Is it normal? I can't simply just "get over it".

She was the love of my life and we were in a serious relationship for 3 and a half years, but she went to college and she did not want to continue the relationship. I thought we had something more. She was the only one who i could connect with and who understood me as a human being. I can't get over it, there will never be a girl who will compare to her.

Anyone else ever feel like this?

Personally I don't care about the outcome but would you say that ignorance plays or a role ?

This morning I was planning on obtaining some waffles for personal consumption, but my conscious started to interfere and i realized the unnecessary carbohydrates and calories would be useless and non beneficial to my body. It was one of many mental battles I have had today thus far.

I fear for humanity because of artists such as Nikki Minaj, LiL Wayne, And Justin Bieber.

I feel as though it is almost to easy to sucker the masses.

I have taken on a new found interest in physics, space, astrology, and time so excuse the shallowness of this question if it appears so to all of you PhD's .

Does the galaxy have "limits" if you will? Is space really eternal? I have heard a theory that if you go in one direction in space over a course of so many lifetimes at light-speed, eventually you will come back to that point ( Kind of like Neo walking down the train tunnel in the Matrix, and ending up back at the same spot he was at).

Can someone please elaborate on all of this? Is this something that is scientific or theoretical.

I've noticed that social people seem to have a negative perspective on quiet people. They tend to give them a rude eye or to say something negative in a joking manner. Do quiet people disinterest you that much? Usually from my experiences, the quiet ones usually are the most rewarding friends. Being that they only speak if they have something creative or important to say.

What are your opinions on the quiet guy in the corner?

They say i'm too quiet. It's quite annoying.

Will all mystery's of this galaxy be revealed when we die and go to heaven? All conspiracy theory's and UFO sightings. Will all the facts be laid out once we go to heaven? I certainly hope so.

This is not to debate the existence of heaven if you do not believe in heaven then you do not belong here.

My father used to swing on me as a kid. The first time i remember i was terrified, as i was about 13 and i remember we got into a small argument, and he took something as severe disrespect and he just started swingin' on me buttcheeks nonstop with a ruler about 30 times. This was the first time. I remember just being terrified that my own dad would do this, yet i was young and easily malleable, so i figured my disrespect was a reason for that to be ok.

Then, he gripped me by my shirt, threw me on a wall and landed a quick 6 shot combo to my head. Yet again for "speaking out of turn."

I've been put through walls ( there is a hole about 3 ft by 3ft in my room), and made a human punching bag my whole teen years. One time i lent my mother 20 dollars from my paycheck whilst my mother and father were in the process of a divorce. I told him about it and he turned into a demon. He flipped the couch over and ran at me with rage in his eyes and pinned me on the couch, started beatin me in the face screamin " imma cave your f*cking skull in!!".

He took a broom to my head once and i've been attacked by him probably a total of 20 times my entire teen lifespan.

Finally when i hit 17 or 18, he tried to fight me and i pushed him down the stairs. He left me alone from there on out. I probably could have kicked his @ss multiple times, but i have a little brother and sister and they are already terrified of him swinging on me.

He is a christian ( actually a deacon at a church) and he is convinced that he has not abused me over the years. He says my disrespect/backtalk is the reason for his outbursts. Now i know disrespect is wrong, but i have never gotten violent or threatened him ( cases in which restraining/fightin your kid is ok). I want to show him peoples opinions on his actions so please give me the scoop on what you think of this.

I moved out a couple weeks ago and I have grown a deep hatred towards and am not speaking with him at all.

Is it ok to swing on your teen with a closed fist in the face, even if it doesn'tt cause a bruise at times?

After a heavy night of drinking, my Friends girl woke up without any pantys on. Shortly thereafter, we discovered they were dangling far above the oak tree near the house we were drinking at ( well over 75 feet). We need to retrieve the pantys asap and need some pointers on how to obtain the pantys. We do not have a ladder and the tree is impossible to climb, as the nearest branch is approximately 30 feet above. This is a very embarrassing situation, and i believe I told her i think its time to lay off the Tequila.

Do you think he is fairly seasoned at administering psychedelics?

A while back at the dinner table, it was my sister, step mom, dad, and little bro. So my step mom started praying before dinner and she went on for about 10 minutes, when finally my little sister ( she's 15) said "dam are you almost done?!". In a rage, my psycho dad proceeded to grab my sister by her shirt, and threw her to the ground and called her a "witch".

Is this by any means normal and sane? I called him out on it recently and he acts like it's the most normal thing.

This is why i hate religion.

Opinions?

When i was 16 i got in a school fight and got a simple assault.( a misdemeanor).

When i was 18 i got an underage drinking, a disorderly, and a public intoxication. ( I received all of these in one night at a party).

Other than that i have not been in any trouble with the law ( 20 years old now). I am currently in the DEP for the Navy, and leave for boot camp in 20 days. I figure if i get my degree in the Navy, I'll have a very good resume' for the police force when my 4 years are complete. I want to be a cop for the NYPD or the LAPD.

Would 1 misdemeanor as a minor and 3 citations as an adult be an issue if i was to aspire to become a cop?
