  • CHRISTIANS: Why do some of you pick and choose what to follow in the bible?

    Sorry if i seem ignorant but its just my personal experience and i do not know too much about the bible so if im missing something please explain. I guess im just frustrated because a majority of my family and the Christians that i know get all bent out of shape about Homosexuality and think that it is so ridiculously wrong because of what the bible says and believe that those who are(such as myself) are such horrible people. But when it comes to other rules in the bible such as sex before marriage and lying they seem not to care I know most of them didnt wait until marriage and those who arent married still do it even though it clearly says in the bible not too. They have also lied and stolen and broken a bunch of other rules but they arent looked down upon or hated.I just dont see why they only follow the rules they want and then strongly disapprove on what doesnt affect them directly. It doesnt seem right to me. Im not speaking for all Christians of course just the majority of those that i know. How do you feel about this?

  • What's my sexual orientation?

    Im a 14 year old girl and am frustrated because i dont know what i am yet. I know that i like girls and think they are attractive i get butterflies in my stomach and all I've had these feelings since about 5th grade but only recently just realized what they were. What im unsure about is i've had crushes on boys in the past and have thought they were cute and all but that stoppped about a year ago and i dont even find guys attractive anymore by appearance or personality i prefer girls so i dont know what to consider myself. Is that normal?
