1 AnswerLyrics8 years agoMy fellow Catholic friends, I mean no disrespect by this.?
Friends, I have entered your churches and I refuse
To believe that by entering them you have defiled
Yourselves by bowing down to carved images.
I exort each and everyone of you to examine what
You follow lest a great evil befall you.
Deuteronomy 5:8-9
8 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the
form of anything in heaven above or on the earth
beneath or in the waters below.
9 You shall not bow down to them or worship
them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,....
God has commanded this, and will you disobey?

1 AnswerRock and Pop9 years agoTo all taxi drivers out there? How's your love lifes going?
I'm a taxi driver in California. My question is simple. How do people percieve you after you tell them you're a taxi driver?
I've been having issues with the kind of work i do. I almost feel like women would simply brush me off knowing i drive a taxi for a living. I've come to a point in my life where i wish i could say "hi i'm a lawyer, psychiatrist, mailman; heck i rather say im a striper for that matter.
Any stories, comments, questions regarding this?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoA poem for the broken in spirit?
Do You Care?
Ha! Funny
My thoughts... cheers mates my heritage alone lies in these words
but I don't need to tell you Russia of my treasures
These words weren't meant for you.
You have your share with me and me alone, friend or foe we're in it together
And we have fallen short of grace while I'm pointing straight at it.
Don't tell me you don't know
A cup of tea, another please. Okay one more.Hold me dear to your heart
I want to be remembered
If a dream, when I awake Will it make things better?
Now I see... I'll take the pain down to the grave. What then?
Find me, find me on a ledge. I'll keep you posted.
I dred this day and the day after if I'm still tied down.
Run my fingers through it and it's gone, you'll be back I'm sure.
I grieve no more, but you will
All of you will mourn.
Take my words, save yourselves while there's still hope.
Escape the horrors that await you.
A shade much more shady than the first
has been cast upon your faith
so that you may shine forth.
You can thank me later.
These words I wrote are worth more than heaps of gold
yet there is One Who takes all credit
let the burden be cast on the strong
should I carry my own I'd fall.
I rejoice my wish was cut short 900 years or so
My resting place awaits. Or does it? Let us hope
I will make you proud I AM.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhar is right from wrong?
Let me tell a quick story.
So while babysitting my brother and sister i noticed that out of 20, or 30 toys they each had if my brother saw my sister playing with a specific toy, my brother went and took it from her, and of course the other way around.
Now you be the judge, was that stealing or was it childsplay?
Funny thing, if no one touched the toy then there was no fighting over it. Yet niether one played with the toy.
In my perspective I realized, this is stealing. Because although mom and dad bought the toy specifically for one and not both, the toy was fought over even though one had no right to take it.
The real question however, is: if there had been no law dictating "thou shall not steal" whether the law came from God or created by humans, is this consider stealing?
Also, if the toy was given say to my sister and my brother took it without asking although my sister knew what my brother did but decided not to fight for it. Would this be considered stealing?
Or is it that whenever one feels threatened that a law must arise?
I tell you..... There wouldn't be law if we hadn't put a price on human life.

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIt has come to my attention that most people don't understand words.?
3 nights ago at work as I was dispatching for a taxi company. The owner has this rule: diapatch calls come first before personal calls. So the deal is. If a driver gets a call to go pick someone up that doesn't come from dispatch the driver must take the calls coming into the company phones before any other calls.
That night due to greed I knew the drivers would not abide by those rules so I figured might as well let the drivers take their personal calls lest i give them a call and they don't show up on time because they are busy with their own calls.
So I said over the radio: drivers I don't mind you guys taking your personal calls first as long as you let me know you have a personal call.
A driver gets upset and says I always notify my calls what's your problem?.
I explained to him again why I was doing what I was doing and again he kept arguing with me that he had notified me of previous calls.
So My question is: If the world can't percieve simple words or follow simple instructions even after they have been explained many many times, what chance do they have in life trying to attain the goal of eternal life through grace if they don't understand what grace is?

1 AnswerR&B & Soul9 years agoGod, yes God created all that is... That includes the governing laws?
God created the laws that govern the movement of the stars and planets, the laws that govern the physical world and with it its branches of science that with it we may observe His power.
My question is: Why wont God grant an individual in this day in age power beyond comprehension if faith the size of a mustard seed is all that is required?
Are we faithless?
Are we ignorant?
Are we weak?
No... It is because there are laws.
That didn't stop Elijah, or Moses, or Jesus, or Muhammad.
Then what, or why?
Because we walk in the flesh, and the flesh has little power or no power over the physical.
Then how can the spirit have the power over both the spiritual and the physical?
In that the spirit does not abide by the laws that govern the physical world.
