It's been said that women are vicious and very critical toward other each other. If this is the case, why do women seek each other out for nurturing and emotional support?

Never read about someone coming to him and asking for a financial miracle. There are many times he was asked to make someone well and did; even raised people from the dead!! He fed multitudes who were hungry (by divine miracle); he calmed storms, when asked, and even opened blind eyes. Yet I never read about someone coming to him and asking for a financial miracle.

I mailed my tax return the first week of February and attached a return receipt postcard. The tracking showed "Arrival at Unit" on February 8. (This has been nearly a week).

I'm not sure if Arrival at Unit means it ARRIVED or that it is sitting at the local post office. In addition, from the arrival location to my location, it should not take the return receipt more than 2 days (if it was signed for immediately).

Not sure what's going on....

Usually it is believed that Walmart has EVERYTHING; however there are common items that cannot be found there !! What is one thing you would've been a common item but it was not found at Walmart??

(For me, it was a Frisbee !!)

My friend's computer (ASUS with Vista) only opens in Safe Mode. We tried restoring to a previous time, but cannot get there. Not sure how I can bypass all the locks while saving important data.

Can I download game apps (for my son) on a laptop??

I purchased a few of the I-pads for kids during the Christmas season; both of them were worthless and aggravating. I am settling to give him a laptop.

At the moment, I can put shortcuts on the desktop for sites like "NickJr", "Disney", etc, where he can click the GAMES tab and play from there. (He likes Angry Birds and a few other popular ones). I would prefer a direct link / app to a game rather than going through a website.

I'm not very familiar with this process; appreciate suggestions.

My son asked if he can have an I-pad for Christmas. I think he likes the large touch screen and is fascinated by the icons, etc. I personally do not own an I-pad; do not use or need this device.

I would like to give him something similar, maybe like the Leap Frog I-pad / Leap Pad ?? I'm not sure of all my options.

I am assuming I cannot get an I-pad and just use it without a data plan; that's too generous for a cell phone company.

I see signs that list a maximum weight for a bridge (ie: 4 tons only) but then follow up with "unless local deliveries, then 10 tons". So what can the bridge REALLY support: 4 or 10?

I cannot make sense of these bridge signs; anyone have the reasoning?

Looking for a few boxes useable to pack items for a move. Previously, I went to grocery stores and either ended up with a wrong size or I got boxes that were water soaked or plain unuseable.

I priced boxes and many are asking $4-$5 for small square boxes !! (I need about 20).

Must a diesel truck engine be built to make a deafening noise (when pulling out from a stopped position)?

Need suggestions from experienced bird owners on the best way to keep two parakeets fed for one week while I am away. At the moment, I do not have someone I can trust to care for them; I am wondering if there is a feeder or another way to keep enough food available. (They eat almost constantly).
