I've had tan-dark brown discharge mid-cycle before around ovulation time but it only lasts a day or two then goes away until my period starts. I've been to my OB/GYN and had my hormone levels checked and they came back as normal. This month is different as I've had really dark brown discharge since about ovulation time and my period isn't due for about six days yet. It's bad enough that's I have to change panty-liners several times a day! There's no odor, no burning, no cramps except for a slight backache and I don't have any STD's. I plan to call my doctor on Monday but wondered if anyone else has experienced this and what the outcome was for you. BTW, my periods are regular 28-30 day cycles, I'm married and am 39 years old. (It's not perimenopause according to my doc either...) I've surfed around the net for answers but can't seem to find any that have my same symptoms. They are either on the pill or it hasn't lasted as long as mine has. Any info would be greatly appreciated! :)

My nipples (only) are sore and I had some slimy discharge with pink/red in it today. I don't chart, but we use the pull-out method which we know isn't 100% effective but it has been for the past 10 years for us! I've had mid-cycle spotting before but it's always been brown. Does anyone have any thoughts about this or had this happen and turned out pregnant?

I posted a question a couple days ago and wanted to ask a new one. I had brown and pink spotting from 5 dpo to 8 dpo along with cramps. Today I'm at 10 dpo and my CM has been mostly yellowish since yesterday, so back to normal for me...although I'm still having cramps off and on. I've also started getting hot flashes in the evenings, my boobs are getting progressively more sore and my back aches. I'm not due for AF until Sat or Sun, so I'm waiting to test. I never have had spotting like this before, so that's the big clue for me that this may be from implantation. Has anyone else experienced this and got their BFP?

Hey Ladies, let me know what you think about this...

I'm a pretty regular 28-29 day cycler. I usually have some brown spotting a day or two, sometimes three days prior to AF. But this cycle is very different so far. I'm pretty sure I ovulated back on Jan 1 or 2 as I keep a close eye on my CM. At 5 dpo I had some creamy light brown (more tan in color) CM which came after about an hour of cramping. The cramps almost felt like a gut ache but I hadn't eaten anything to give me one?? Then at 6 dpo my CM was light yellow all day and night. Today, (7 dpo)...back to the tan color again and I've been lightly cramping off and on as well. Backaches and headaches too, but those aren't as unusual for me as I do suffer from migraines! It's not a lot of discharge..but enough to definitely notice it on a pantyliner.

Do you think this could be from implantation? I've NEVER had mid-cycle spotting like this. Oh, and my period isn't due to start until the 17th.

I'd love to hear from any of you that have experienced something similar...especially if you turned out to be pregnant! :)

Six days now of very light brown spotting. Started on Monday, AF was due on Wednesday. Took an hpt on Thursday and it was -. Mild cramps since 8 dpo, backache and boobs are sore off and on. Do you think I need to wait a few more days before testing again? I'm taking prenatals and watching what I eat and drink just in case...Yes, I've been stressed out, but that's nothing new for me and has never affected my period before.

If anyone reading this has had these symptoms and got a BFP, I would love to hear about it!

I've been spotting brown blood for 5 days now and my period was due on Wednesday. This is really unusual for me as sometimes I may have a little brown a day or two before AF hits hard, but never this long. I took an HPT this morning and it was -. Anyone had something similar that can share their outcome? I'm normally very regular so this has me puzzled. I've had mild cramping since about 7 dpo and my breasts just started getting tender a few days ago.

Any replies with similar experiences would be appreciated!

OK, going to ask this again and make it short and sweet! AF was due Wednesday. I started having some light brown spotting on Monday. It has continued since then and my period hasn't come on yet. I'm a very regular 28 day person too. My breasts are getting increasingly tender and I've been having mild cramps for a week now.

Question: Have any of you had anything similar and found out you were pregnant? I plan on testing this weekend if it doesn't kick in.

I thought for sure I was out for this month as I started with some very light, (tan colored) CM two days before AF was due to start. That's pretty usual for me. The thing that has me baffled now though, is that my breasts are getting increasingly more tender and the brown discharge has been the only thing I've had for four days now. No red, a very slight amount of light pink and a backache, but that's it. Now...I realize due to stress (which I'm pretty much always having) it could just be a slow...REALLY slow start to my period this month. However, since my husband and I BD'd the two days prior to O day, I'm left to wonder if this could be implantation.

Has anyone had these symptoms and got a BFP? I think I'm going to hold off on testing until the weekend in case AF decides to sneek up on me tonight or tomorrow! Thanks for your replies and ***baby dust*** to all TTC'ers!!

I think this may be an early start to AF, doggone it! Just to keep my spirits up tonight, has anyone had this and gotten a BFP at some point? I am SO regular at 28 days that I first thought it may be implantation, but I'm more pessimistic than optimistic tonight. I didn't chart this month as my husband had to go out of town on O day, so we BD'd the two days before. I'm pretty sure (due to the EWCM on Friday, Oct. 16) that it was O day and we had sex on Wed & Thurs. That would make me 10 or 11 dpo today, but if I go by my normal 28 day cycle, I should get AF on Wed. So darn confusing! Yes, I will start charting my temps next month if all is lost in this one.

Good morning! A week ago I asked a question about ovulation. My husband and I BD'd the two days before I ovulated then he left on a business trip. I'm due for AF on Wednesday, and since about 6 dpo have had these pressure type cramps, mostly when I'm sitting down, but they are pretty constant. My breasts haven't been sore at all (unusual for me prior to AF) but this morning I noticed my nipples hurt a little bit. My back has been aching like crazy and CM has been about the same as always...I don't want to test yet, I'm going to wait it out and see if AF starts as I'm almost always right on time.

I guess my question for you is if anyone has had these pressure type cramps before their period and if it was a sign of pregnancy for you? (I don't normally have cramping at all before my period.)

OK, we have a six month old female Jack. She is a pistol..as most Jacks are. We also have a six year old female Jack who is the most awesome dog ever. :) Anyway, the puppy is TERRIBLE at night about going into her crate. We have put her in there since she was eight weeks old and we first brought her home...so she's used to it. She has a clean, soft bed, we've put a blanket over it and yet every single night she barks her butt off for about an hour before finally giving in and going to sleep!! We are beyond sick of this behavior and NOTHING has worked. She pees in there, and has even pooped in there! I have never had a dog like this in my life and we are on the borderline of getting rid of her. We got her fixed about 10 days ago but nothing has changed about this nighttime behavior.

Can ANYONE help us??? Please?? We are really getting desperate!

I have a 28 day cycle...very regular. I chart and know that I ovulate on day 14 according to my cm and ovary pains. I was supposed to ovulate on Wed. My husband and I BD'd on Wednesday night and last night. So here's my question: A couple of hours ago I started having the stretchy ewcm and I didn't have any on Wed. or Thurs. I know it's possible that I'm ovulating later this month even though that's rare for me, but if we conceived Wed night, would I still have this ewcm today? Or does this mean we weren't successful? He left on a business trip this morning so no more chance this month if it didn't work. :(

Hey everyone in TTC!

My AF was due yesterday and I started having light brown spotting in the afternoon (pretty normal for me) so of course I was bummed. The reason I'm asking about when to test again is because normally within a few hours it turns red; sorry if TMI. Here it is about 30 or so hours later and it's still dark brown, no red at all and in the past 5-6 hours it's stopped completely. This is so not like me. The other things making me wonder are my sore boobs are back...they went away several days ago, but I have no cramps and very little backache. Now of course, AF may be messed up this month for whatever reason, but if she doesn't show by morning, I was thinking of testing again.

Any thoughts? Anyone turned out pregnant with something similiar?

I have a 6 year old Jack Russell and she does get allergies in the spring and fall. I just noticed how awful the tops of her feet look as she's been licking them like crazy. With the holiday tomorrow, I won't be able to take her to the vet until Tuesday. Does anyone know if there's anything I can give her until then to help her feel better? (The vet gives her a cortizone shot and that always fixes it.)

Wondering if anyone has experienced similar symptoms of what could be either PMS or early pregnancy indicators. Hubby and I BD'd just before and during ovulation this month. Without mentioning all my symptoms, I'll just say that despite the continued CM, my boobs were killing on 8 and 9 dpo and I had some dull cramping from 6 - 10 dpo along with horrible back pain. I took a test this morning, BFN. I'm now 13 dpo and AF is due tomorrow. The weird thing for me is that my symptoms except for the CM have all but disappeared. Boobs don't hurt, back is much better (still a little sore) and I have a off & on dull pain near both ovaries.

Obviously, I will wait and see if AF rears her ugly head tomorrow before testing again on Monday...I just thought I'd see if any of you had something similar with disappearing symptoms and ended up pregnant.

I'm supposed to get AF tomorrow. I've had what I thought was unusually bad PMS this month, tightening feeling in lower abdomen, really sore bb's, cramps (but up high, above belly button), low back pain and a lot of watery cm (sorry if TMI) ;). All of those have been going on for about 8 days now. I bought a 3 pack of Walgreens early response tests, took 1 yesterday...super faint line, and another today, super faint line, both within 10 minutes. The thing is, I started having some very small amounts of light browinsh discharge this afternoon which sometimes means my period is starting but I feel so different this month.

There's the gory details...now for the question part: have any of you gals had something similar and what was your outcome? I will continue to test each morning if AF doesn't come in full force, but the super faint lines on both tests are what's really throwing me. Has anyone had false positives with this brand?

I had a weird result on an HPT yesterday, so I'm waiting a couple more days to test again. My AF was due yesterday and didn't show but a few hours ago I had some tan colored creamy CM (sorry if TMI) which is not at all how my period usually starts. I've had low back pain, dull persistent cramps and sore bb's since about 7 dpo that are the same today. (Hot flashes too, really bad today)

Just curious if anyone out there has experienced something similar and what the outcome was? Thanks!!

OK, so I drank a whole bottled water first...dumb, I know...but I was really thirsty! About 30 minutes after that, I decided to take the HPT because we are going out of town this weekend and I don't want to take it at a hotel. Anyway, it was an offbrand with the two lines kind and within the first minute, I swear there was the faintest blue line just right of the center in the results window! I kept staring at it, then walked away for about 10 minutes. When I came back it seemed fainter? Then it seemed to go away completely so I left it on the counter and came back 10 mins later and I can see it again! What on earth is that all about? My last baby was born 12 years ago, so I'm kind of new at all of this again. I'm 14 dpo, no signs of AF starting and I've had lower back pain constantly since about 7 dpo, dull cramping with some right ovary pain and very sore bb's on the sides for a whole week as well.

Should I stop freaking out and just retest in the morning with FMU?
