Electrical outlet?
I have been replacing all of the outlets and switches in my home over the past few months. However, I came across something that I can't identify. And, when I checked the electrical outlet aisle in Home Depot, I couldn't find one even remotely similar. Can anybody tell me what this is? Is this some kind of electrical outlet. On the inside, it has 2 black wires connected to each of the holes. And the wires themselves are much thinner than the rest of my sockets are. Which makes me wonder if it's an electrical outlet at all. Please note that the picture is sideways, so the plate is vertical with the two dots closer to the top.

I found out that a coworker referred to me as Dwight behind my back. I don't watch the show, so I can only suspect that it is a bad thing.
