For instance, I have a bunch of MP3s that are encoded anywhere from 128kbps to 320kbps ... would there be any good reason to upconvert them to Apple Lossless?

Note: I do not have the original CDs, so reripping them is not an option. Thanks!

I am looking to buy a replacement LCD screen for my LG Dare VX9700 (Verizon Wireless) on ebay, and I am noticing that many of the ads for the replacement screens say "GSM only. No CDMA." My phone is on Verizon's CDMA network ... but what does the network have to do with the compatibility of the LCD screen?

Not the all-natural stuff or the cans of rootbeer and cola that are still selling today ... I am talking about the light blue colored blueberry punch flavored stuff that came in plastic 12-16 oz. bottles in the late '70's or early '80's. Does anyone know anything about it and what happened to it?

I think he was African American, anyway, all the other younger firefighters are out on a big fire call and he is left alone at the station. Then a call comes in about another fire, and, with no other option available, he gets suited up and jumps in the station's old firetruck and he puts the small blaze out by himself. The book had to have been published prior to 1980 or so, because I owned/read it as a little kid in the mid to late '70s. Any help is VERY appreciated.
