Hello!

I have been washing my hair with shampoo every day for the last couple of years, without using a conditioner. I am a guy, btw. And so I today I heard that my hair is very rough. I checked, and it seems like it might be so because I use shampoo too often, no conditioner, and extremely hot water.

And so I want to change! First of all, I plan to reduce shampooing, at least for now, to every other day. Secondly, after shampooing, I will use a conditioner. And every time I shower I will use relatively cold water. But here come my questions:

1. How often should I use the conditioner? Only after shampooing, or everyday, each time I take a shower?

2. Since I will still be taking a shower everyday, what should I do about the hair? I have no problem with it getting wet, but without the shampoo/conditioner, won't it get all crazy? I'd prefer not to cover it with something, because I still want to clean my ears and the neck.

Sup! Well... I'm going to get a haircut on this Saturday, and I was wondering if you have any ideas for the new hairstyle. These are what I have now. Should I leave it... or change it for something else?

Well... lately I have become more conscious of my clothes. I used to wear the same shirt all the time, and I used to hate jeans, and so I used dresses and other stuff...

Anyway, that was supposed to make you aware how unfashionable I am. Nowadays, since I have no artistic sense, I go for the "conservative" looks, like most guys at my age (17), who lack style-- loose jeans and hoodies.

I would like to change. Could you give me any tips on what clothing I should have? Please, with pictures :-)

I have jumped a bit on a Summer camp and learned to do backflips and frontflips, and felt like I really like the feeling xD

First of all, I want the trampoline to have nets, since I'd rather not fall of it, especially since I'm going to be trying out different stunts on it.

Secondly, I'm 17, and would like the trampoline to be strong enough to survive me jumping on it.

Thirdly, I want it to be relatively large, so that I can do the stunts with relatively a lot of space.

Fourthly, I want it to be one of the raised ones. I can't dig it into my lawn and so these are out of the calculation.

Of course, the price matters as well.

Any tips on choosing the best trampoline? Thank you!

Well... I'm an atheist, and I have just come to the States. Soon, I will have to give a presentation concerning my family and me in general. I have never faced discrimination in Poland due to my belief, and I will not be afraid to express it in front of the class. I was just wondering if someone could give me some insight on how atheists are perceived in the States? I have just read an article on Wikipedia, and it wasn't too positive.

It'd be nice if you could compare it to something-- for example, is it even worse than how gays are perceived?

Also, I live in California, so I guess it is much more liberal than an average state.

I never speak with my parents, and so the last time I hugged them with actual emotion must have been many years ago. Since then, I haven't hugged or been close to anyone. I need some love ;-(

Well... I'm extremely shy, I haven't had a girlfriend because whenever I see a girl that I actually like, my heart stops and I'm unable to utter a single sentence.

I think I might have some issues, since I started using Omegle to fight with my fears, I guess. I also had problems, and still have, because my parents and relatives always say that I'm handsome, and it has completely ruined my psyche, and I'm constantly thinking about it when at school or meeting new people.

But I got off topic a bit. On Omegle, I often get called "cute". Never hot or handsome. I was wondering if, like in women's case, both are used to describe women which are pretty in a different way-- cute meaning "I want to hug you", hot meaning "I want to **** you"-- or is it simply saying that I'm not terrible looking, but not great either. I have good grades in every subject and a good SAT result. Learning is not a problem for me, no subject poses any troubles for me. I fluently speak two languages, and English is actually my second language.

The problem is, however, that I do not enjoy any school subject. Actually, I hate every single one of them. It might be because I hate compulsory work. Or it might be because I don't "fit" into any of the subjects. Because of that, I get good grades. Why? Because I study everything equally, hating everything equally. I'd prefer to actually have worse grades, but enjoy what I do.

The only things I enjoy in life is reading books and playing computer games. Jobs in these industries generally require writing, which I actually hate the most.

In life all I am searching for is happiness. I don't care what others will think, as long as I am happy, I know my choice was right. However, I do not know what to actually do. How is it possible to somehow start enjoying school and what I learn there?

I am completely green, have no tools and would just like to check out if this hobby is for me. So the model should be easy to make, and it would be nice if all the tools were included.

Ok, so I know I am addicted. That is without dispute.

And I know that the only way to fight with it is finding a different hobby. And no, I do not think that video games are in any way worse than other hobbies, I just know I need some variety.

How can one find a hobby? I have tried different things and everything makes me feel bored. The only other hobby which I enjoy equally is soccer, but for that you must depend on friends.

I am not asking for one specific hobby, but rather ways of finding it. Thanks.

My parents got a job in the US, and they took me. I have been a couple of times previously to the States, so it wasn't a huge shock. I took the PSAT quite a while ago, and just got the results.

I have 63 Critical Reading, 65 Mathematics and 59 Writing Skills. These results place me in the top 8% of the country. However, I read that they still aren't good enough for the best collages.

Is that so? For example, what is the average Harvard SAT score?

And more importantly, should I try to take the SAT? Do you think a big progress is possible? I will be in the US only for this year, and so this will probably be my only chance. However, if a huge progress is not possible, I will stick to Polish studies, which are for free.

I'm going to get a new haircut tomorrow.

I want it to be relatively short, at least in comparison with my current one. Also, I do not want to use hair gel. Other than that, I am open to suggestions :-)

Also, should I get a hairstyle which hides my forehead? The hair sticks up like that on its own terms, and if you guys think so, I'll be trying to comb it down. And last question. What is my face shape? I heard that determines the hairstyle a lot...

This question seems stupid, but come on. Since black absorbs most heat and energy, by becoming tan, we absorb even more of the sun. Meaning that it gets even hotter and hotter. Shouldn't evolution work the other way around? If we were to become whiter after tanning, we would reflect light.

Basically, what is the reason we tan black and not white?

I have always had problems with life. I don't know if it was because my mother had a few breakdowns, or if is the cause of the way I was raised, but I am unhappy. My home relations are terrible. When I go to school, I put on a mask. I am not myself. But everyone likes me. At home I put on a different mask. I am mean to my parents. But I do not know who I am. I have never understood myself. And I do not wish to. People like who I am not. I am tired of life. I have had suicidal thoughts since I was 9. Then, they were just momentary, caused by some sad event. For some time, however, I just feel I want to rest. Kill myself and let it be over. If I have a depression, then it is one heck long depression. I do not enjoy many things in life. I do not have a close friend, since I am unable to let someone close. People like me, because I observe them and know what they want me to be, and I am. I do not know what my problem is. I guess I am too weak for this society. The only reason I have not killed myself is my fear of pain. Sometimes I feel like I am not scared anymore. I had this feeling today, it was strongest yet.

I am not depressed, I just want to rest. I am 17 years old.
