How to find the circumference of a race car tyre?
One last question for Y/A from me.
I'm trying to learn how to calculate race car speeds from vehicle specifications.
Vehicle speed = wheel speed x wheel circumference.
πD = Wheel circumference
Unlike standard road car tyres, race car tyres provide an overall diameter instead of an aspect ratio.
Front tyre size: 305/605/18 (mm/mm/in) (Tread width/Overall diameter/Rim diameter)
Rear tyre size: 335/710/18 (mm/mm/in) (Tread width/Overall diameter/Rim diameter)
Is it just as simple as 'π x overall diameter' to find the circumference here?
TIA, and good luck in the future all!

In the rules and regulations, article 9, section 9.9.1, under the engine rules and regulations, it simply states 'Manufacturing seals must be respected'. What does this mean?

For example, in the balance of performance table for the IMSA race 'Rolex 24' at Daytona in 2019, the Mazda DPi car had a declared lambda of 0.85.
Curious as to what 'declared lambda' is and thus understanding what the value of this 0.85 is.

I've started studying dimensional analysis for my university degree (UK based), and have an upcoming test on the subject, that I'm hoping to take before the the 5th of January. I'm not very familiar with it beyond knowing the very basic unit conversions.
Anybody have any good recommendations on where to start?/ websites to learn from?/ Any tips?

1 AnswerMathematics4 months agoWorking a second job whilst on furlough, UK..?
Do I legally need to tell my primary employer that I am working a second job with similar working hours?
I love my primary job. But I've been on furlough since March and I'm going to be made redundant in November which is confirmed but I am yet to receive my official notice. So I've decided to take a second job to reduce the stress and anxiety of becoming unemployed. Nothing in my contract states that I cannot work a second job. My co-workers have worked second jobs whilst on furlough. And the company have confirmed that there will be no requirement to work a notice period. With voluntary redundancy being an option to take.
I would rather not tell them though encase it may harm any glimmer of hope that I have of remaining employed by the company as I don't want to be made redundant. I wouldn't want to make it an easier decision for them because I have a 'back up' job.
Thanks.
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment7 months agoWhat phone upgrade should I get? ?
My phone contract is due for an upgrade.
Currently have a Samsung galaxy S8 edge.
The screen is cracked and very close to breaking anyway.
I'm not sure what a good solid upgrade would be.
I don't want to pay extortionate contract prices, as I don't feel I can justify it in terms of how much I use it. So that writes off S10 and iPhone 11.
Obviously S9 is an option, but I'm curious as to what the best phone I could get is that isn't going to cost me £60+ a month.
Pixel? P30?
Let me know your thoughts!
3 AnswersMobile Phones & Plans2 years agoInternet question! UK.?
I recently moved in to a house share, And the landlord has some vodafone internet deal going on with a terrible Wi-Fi connection. And he absolutely forbids any kind of package upgrade or new ISP. I spend a lot of time on my pc so I find it quite frustrating at times.
So, my question is; is there anything I can do, any deal or anything I can enquire about that will genuinely improve my internet? Or any ISP I can talk to where they won't come start drilling holes in my wall?
1 AnswerOther - Internet2 years agoExposure to beryllium. Doctors or A&E?
I work in motorsport and work with copper beryllium. Part of my job is to polish the beryllium parts down to certain sizes. Therefore creating dust. I ve only been exposed a few times without any face mask within the last 3 months. But my question is; is it something I can consult my doctor about? Or is it something I need to go to hospital to get checked up and treated as an emergency? Thanks

1 AnswerMusic & Music Players4 years agoHow old is too old to go back in to education? (UK)?
So I'm 24 now, and I have been working as an engine builder since I was 19. I have recently taken a step back and looked at my life and regret not studying for the sector I work in when I was in college. At that time I had no idea I'd like this career so much. I am not qualified for this at all and the future of the company is always uncertain. I feel like it would be wise to find a way of getting some qualifications, but college courses at like 2 years long and I will end up being like 29 by the time I get to where I feel I should be already. Is it too late for me to drop in to education?

3 AnswersRock and Pop5 years agoWhich guitar should I consider buying? (Links in description)?
There's always been guitars floating around my house that aren't mind. I know how to play, but I don't have a vast knowledge on guitars themselves. So I'd like some influence on which guitar I should buy out of these two.
1. https://www.taylorguitars.com/guitars/acoustic/big...
2. http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Acoustic/Hummingb...
I like to play all kinds of music. I travel a lot so I was thinking the smaller one. But don't travel as much as I'd like anymore so maybe the Epiphone would be better for just hanging around at home?
Any help would be great guys! Thanks!
