Everytime i leave my house it smells good like shampoo but after going outside i come back home and it smells like wet dog or something. Im wondering what could be causing this and how to prevent it.

I live in a big city (Montreal) so im wondering if maybe air pollution could be causing this.

Ive been on birth control for 7 years and ive always had problems with side effects from it. I have tried 4 different pills (Yasmin, Alesse, Marvelon, and Ortho tricyclen lo) all of them have caused side effects which include cramping, swollen and tender breasts, fatigue, random dizziness, Mood changes and depression, heart palpitations and no libido. I am now sick of feeling sick all the time so im thinking of taking a break. Now i do plan on having children in the next couple of years but not right now so im planning on just using condoms. I am wondering if its a good idea in my case to take a break for a couple of months? Do you thing it would be beneficial to me and is it a smart idea considering im not trying to get pregnant right now? Also what are your experiences after quitting the pill i,e side effects etc.

Okay so ill start with a little history. Basically ive had problems with this tooth before. About a year ago i was having severe pain between two teeth. One tooth had a cavity(i assume this was the one causimg the pain)and the one beside it had a filling. The pain got so bad that my ear, jaw, and throat were all hurting and my lymph node on that side was swollen. I went to the dentist who did xrays of the tooth and claimed there was nothing wrong with it. He said that i had an impacted wisdom tooth on that side and that was what was causing the pain not the tooth i suspected. He gave me antibiotics for 3 days (which tool away all the pain completly) then extracted the wisdom tooth. Now about two weeks ago i was having this sharp pain between the two teeth again and the cavity had gotten worse and made a hole in the tooth. I went back to the same dentist and he said the tpoth needed to be filled so he filled it. Right after the novicane wore off i notoced that the tooth was still hurting very badly.i decided to just wait a few days to see if it got better but the pain just got worse and my ear and throat began hurting badlt on that side aswell. I went back to the dentist who said the filling was a bit high so he just filed it down abit. Now its been a week since he filed the filled but now i am in MAJOR pain. My ear is so painful it feels like its blocked and now my entire thorat is hirting on both sides. What shoould i do?? I cant afford a root canal.

So my dwarf rabbit was diagnosed with patuerellosis almost 2 years ago. When i brought her in she was sneezing and had green nasal discharge(and matted paws). The vet gave me baytril to treat it and the symptoms went away. I know she will have this disease her entire life. Since then she gets the green nasal discharge every now and again. Other than that shes perfectly happy,eats welll' does not appear to br in pain or bothered by it at all. Im jist wondering if i should be taking her to th vet to get the antibiotics everytime she gets the discharge. It happens every few months but i dont want her to be constantly taking antibiotics as i know its not good for her. So should i be getting medicine for the discharge evry time even though she doesnt appear to be bothered by it?

So i have asked this question once before and i am still conflicted. My female cat is 7 years old. Whenever she goes into heat she displays all the normal heat symptoms such as treading, overly affectionate, loud vocalizing. However she also has a brown bloody vaginal discharge. I have asked about this on y/a before and most people seem to think that female cats do not bleed while in estrus and bleeding indicates the cat has pyometra. I then took her to the vet and the vet said that cats do bleed while in heat and its not the same as when a cat has pyometra becuase with pyo the blood would be mixed with pus and the cat would be showing other pyo symptoms. Now im always worried when the cat goes into heat and i see blood. So do cats bleed when in heat or not?

Just wondering the longest you guys have waited in the E.R and wait is your usual wait times? also where are you from? I myself like in Mtl Quebec and have waited 13 hours one when i was have abdominal pain. The average wait time here is usually about 5 hours. The shortest ive ever waited is 3 hours. I personally think this is ridiculus, what about you guys?

So i am a 22 year old girl and am having some issues. I have frequent abdominal pain which varies in region. Alot of the times i get sharp pains above my right hip and i have went to the emergency room for this before, the doctors thought it might be appendicitis but i had an ultrasound done and my appendix is normal. They also checked for ovarian cysts and i had none. If i have to go to the bathroom i get severe abdominal pain and bloating. I also have noticed that i sometimes have blood in my feces. i dont really go more then the average person would and dont really have diarhea. Please help could this be Crohns

P.S my mom has Crohns disease. She was diagnosed 5 years ago and has to get remicade injections every few weeks

My cat is 6 years old. Recently i brought her to the vet and the receptionist asked me what breed she is and i had no idea what to say. so my cat is obviously in heat. shes loudly vocalizing, sticking her butt in the air, rolling around, rubbing on me constantly. what worries me is she is having a red discharge comming from her vagina. shes showing no other signs of pyometra she is not lethargic shes eating normally and not acting sick what so ever. i read that pyometra occurs after a cats heat cycle not during. so im woondering is it possible for a cat to be in heat and have pyometra?

So I want to get my cat spayed. i have been looking around at prices and the cheapest in area is 180 dollars at a local animal shelter. vets in my area cost 250-300 dollars. i live in quebec, canada. i find that quite expensive. my question is how much did you pay to get your female cat spayed. also my cat is now almost 7 years old and im wondering if her age would be a problem?

So i finished my birth control active pills on november 12. I then only started my period on the 17 which was late for me i usually start on the friday but only started sunday night. My period was very heavy and i had very painful cramps. I had heavy bleeding for 5 days (which is unusual since im on the pill) and spotting for one day. Then i though i was finished since i had no bleeding on saturday and my period never lasts longer than 6 days. I did not start a new birth control pack because since ive been on bc for 5 years i want to take a break. On sunday i started having lots of dark brown spotting. It is now tuesday and i am still spotting. What could be causing this?

It is now sunday night and ive just tooken my 5th placebo pill and still no period. I was on 3 different courses of antibiotics in october for a tooth infection. I did have unprptected sex but it was after i finished the antibiotics. I have had pms for over a week now which include bloating, fatigue, cramping, breast tenderness and swelling, increased appetite, frequent urination, headaches and mood changes. I have experienced these pms symptpms before in previous months. I am getting worried. I have had moderate cramping and sharp pains that radiate from one ovary to the other but no blood. I have had just discharge except for yesterday i had discharge with just a few flecks of blood and now nothing. Could i be pregnant? Should i stop taking my pill? Please help! I am 21 years old.btw and have always had regular periods.

Okay so.ive been on this same pill (marvelon) for almost a year now and this has never happened before. Usually i start my innactive pills by wednesday and my period starts friday night every month like clockwork. But now its sunday afternoon and my period still isnt here. I was on 3 different types of antibiotocs in october for a tooth infection and im wondering if that might be the cause. I did have s wihout a condom but only after finishing the antibiotics. I also hace had really bad pms this month (breast tenderness and pain, cramping, headaches, fatigue). Now im on my fifth innactive pill and have cramps but no blood. Could my antibiotics have caused this?

Thoses however were not strong enough and i got another infection and was put on very strong antibiotics to cure it. So for the month of october i was on 3 different antibiotics. I am on the birth control pill marvelon and am on my 4th placebo pill and still have not started my period. I usually start on the 3rd placebo pill. I have had horrible pms this month(headaches, sore breasts, cramping, bloating, fatigue). I still have cramping bu no blood. Im wondering if the antibiotics are causing a late period while on the pill?
