  • Is my novel good or boring?

Hello please sit back and read a bit. take sample of my world Meyora to your mind and then comment afterwards. i cant wait to hear all your opinions. thanks.

    Ch 1

Within a garden not just any garden, a sacred garden in a sacred dimension only known to not so many, not because it lacks in beauty, it has much admiration but because it is sacred and truly sacred things stay hidden for multiple reasons, mostly because society doesn’t always respect admirable things and turn something so beautiful soon into a dump. Throughout this garden field the olive green grass also blended with numerous pale ebony roses curved all the same direction in the calm breeze. On the side of the ebony rose garden splashed an aquatic waterfall of glistening turquoise see through water into a clean filled pond with scarlet water lilies floating on the tiny wave currents. Three people lived in this sacred garden people of bronze skin and ebony hair. First person of bronze skin was a man wore a pitch ebony buttoned shirt and pants along with a same color cape that hanged down to his weighs, his name is Boras. Second were bronze skin women, thin women with black long straight beautiful hair of a goddess wearing a taffeta and a scarlet medieval dress, her name is Desiree. The third of bronze skin person was a very young boy, on his head was a collection of ebony tightly bunched curls on his head, the boy’s name is Albora. Desiree was spinning around in the garden holding little Albora having their fun, Boris walked up to them in his ebony clothing serious as could be holding no smile,

“My nearest and dearest loved ones, it’s time for me to head back to the kingdom, I have business to attend.” Boras announced.

Slowly Desiree quit spinning Albora around looking into Boras eye’s as her smile disappeared,

“You’re never here with us,” Desiree complained “you arrive as quickly as you leave; how about we join you in the presence of the kingdom.”

Boras grew infuriated by what she said and responded, “No! You’re either here in the garden or within the house of Nanmin, don’t dare travel anywhere else, we’ve already been over this.”

Desiree lowers Albora on his feet holding his hand.

“The house of Nanmin is where I’m headed, whenever you want to see me and your son that’s where we’ll be.” She said.

Boras looked away from her to a large stone wall concealing halfway inside it a scarlet shard; the man placed his palm onto the scarlet shard transporting some kind of laser energy into it causing the shard to shine bright like a miniature sun. The shard melted into scarlet ooze letting the stone wall it was concealed in to open creating a new path way into a dark cave, an exit out of the garden. Before boras followed into the exit cave he turned around looking at his family.

Never forget, I’ll always love the both of you.” He said.

Two days later within another location, Desiree in her scarlet dress held little Albora’s hand walking together. The atmosphere around them was breezing cold of white sut falling from the skies building higher from the ground. They stopped in front of a large wooden building structure. Desiree slowly raised her hand up knocking on the door of the building. (Knock, knock) suddenly on the other side of the door an eye poked through the hole sounding the voice of a women.

“The pass code please.” The women asked.

Desiree looked at the eye behind the door thinking that voice of the women sounds familiar; however Desiree spoke the password anyway.

“A fool thinks himself to be wise but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.”

The eye removed from the door hole, clicking noises sounded of tight locks and chains, suddenly the door opened. Behind the door was a skinny brunette woman in laborers clothing covered in grime and filth, she grinned perkily. Desiree smiled back stepping in; both the girls hugged each other tight.

“It’s been a long while Desiree,” the women cried.

They both let go holding each other’s arms starring into each other’s eyes.

“I agree felicity; we should get together more often.”

The women felicity in laborers clothing stepped aside with a smile.

    “Please come in,” she said

Desiree walked in the building holding her sons hand, their inside were nomads and refugees sitting, talking, drinking ale, a large crowd of happy faces enjoying their time. Felicity placed her hand on the women’s shoulder.

“Your room is still here Desiree; I made sure it was never given away.”

The women in the scarlet dress nodded her head with as mille feeling welcomed.

“Much appreciated felicity, that’s where I was headed right now, were you coming along.” Desiree replied.

Felicity shook her head side to side.

“I’m sorry, not now, I’m on duty by the door, but we can have a drink later.”

Desiree agreed then the women departed ways, Desiree and her son interred into a backroom with dim candle light hallway made by brown walls with a repeated pattern of dusty wooden doors all the way down.

  • a question for my novel writing?

what if your novel story is to dark and probably to much for society to accept could the publishing be denied for that reason, even if its still good.

I was writing a story on the dark side fairytale story's and it involved such things like the ignorance behind the words of religion and necrophilia.

if its good will it still be accept it

  • the seven deadly sins?

Pride is excessive belief in ones own abilities, that interferes with the individuals recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

don't you think that these acts shouldn't be thought of as sins but thought of as human nature that should be balanced.

im saying we need to follow along these acts to become a better person,

if you don't have any pride you will be looked down on and mistreated (do I have to say more. . .)

lust is what helps find love, lust for a person and both friendship is what makes love.

when a person is envy of another a person you strive to become better than them and that makes you stronger. like when you see a football team working out building their muscles you would work or join the team to become like them or stronger.

gluttony is what keeps you from starving to death telling your body you don't need however you can have it then will wont starve later on in the day.

I was just thinking about this and I would like to hear someones else opinions on it. thank you 4 your time
