  • Which ballistic scope should I fit to a Weihrauch HW95 air rifle (under £55)?

Hi I'm trying to find a scope for use against rabbits at a range of around 25 yards, preferably one that is fairly high quality?

  • If I purchase something from an 18+ site with my own credit card while under the age of 18, will I be 'caught'?

The item in question is just a membership, I'm 17 so I'd have thought this wouldn't be an issue that is confronted normally by banks/companies.

Does purchasing from a retailer give away your personal info such as age?

  • First field microphone?

I'm looking to create SFX for a game myself and a friend are creating, and we would like to record and edit our own sounds.

Any recommendations as to which recording devices and microphones I should use for this? Sounds vary from very loud (air cannon) to crackles such as tinfoil.

    Thanks

  • Advice on going about recording sound effects?

I've recently taken interest in recording sound and editing it in order to create sound effects for games/films; I've read into it, I understand the basics but there's a few things I can't find out using google alone.

Firstly, are there any good tutorial sites that can aid in learning about creating SFX?

Secondly, what kind of microphone should I be considering buying for a first field mic examples please? Also a recording device if necessary

And thirdly, what software do you reccomend?

The sounds I'd like to record range from loudness greatly; asin a whisper to a sports car firing up, and the sounds I'd like to create are mostly sci-fi.

Any tips and advice are greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks

  • Looking for a pure Vanilla small and friendly MC server?

I've tried trawling the internet but unto no avail; I find no joy in playing Minecraft alone and I'm a team player. For these reasons I'm looking for a small Minecraft server (around 5-20 players) where everyone knows eachother; comparable to the Mindcrack server perhaps?

    MC name: piggius_maximus

    Thanks!

  • Made a social mistake, want to resolve it.?

I joined my school about a year back, and I made the mistake of shutting myself off to almost everyone but a small 10% of people in my year. The issue I'm having is that 10% of people isn't a large enough group for me to be happy in.

At my old school I'd get home and have at least 6 conversations with different people via text skyp or FB. At my current school I'm lucky to have one conversation.

So my question is; how do I turn this around? I can't just spin on a dime and suddenly start sending people messages... It's got to be gradual; right?

    Thanks.

  • Teamwork Issue (Game Design)?

Ok, Myself and a friend came up with an idea for a 2d top down space game that has a pixelated art style. That is all you need to know about the game without chucking my gunpowder into a well.

The issue I have is that one of my closest friends has come along and requested he want's to be a part of the team creating this game, the problem is, he wants to do the pixel-art, which is a role I have already taken and am fullfilling, he hasn't put in much effort to the game until recently (perhaps it's the competition). Wheras I have been working with my other friend (the coder for the game) on getting everything s nice and smoothed over.

So here's the even bigger problem, my friend who has just joined in has a different perspective on games altogether than myself, and thereby a different art style. He is from an RPG player background (FO:NV), wheras I'm from an indie/misc player background (anything that's a challenge with regular content patches, often with strategy) This clash means our pixel art styles are radically different, and earlier we settled on he doing one half of the game and I doing another.

This; is not going to work. A game cannot simply switch between art styles as different sprites enter the screen.

What can I do to get the other artwork producer (only just started pixel art) to either take on another role or bog off altogether.

I feel he's stealing my thunder as it were, and maybe I'm the little ***** for resorting to yahoo but we're only 15 and the last thing we need is a fallout, we're a very small social group in a medium sized school.

    Any guidance is much appreciated.

  • Where can I get simcity 5 (not limited edition)?

I don't want the limited edition, which is £44.99 (£3 more than i have available to spend online) and I cannot find the vanilla simcity 5 anywhere. I would assume it's cheaper...

If I can't, then any ideas on making £3 ridiculously fast?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

  • Help with the combination of time and a relationship?

I’m 15 years old from the UK and I used to be in a relationship with a girl in my school. It has been 7 months since she broke up with me (this was not for any particular reason). Neither of us have moved on properly and still dwell over it our past relationship. I hear from my mum that talks with her mum that she’s still really upset and still likes me; and ever since it began I am in the position where I can say I love her more than anything in the world and mean every word of it. I tried to get back with her once before but she said she cannot deal with the pressure even though she still likes me. In 8 months I am joining the royal marines and will then have virtually no time to do anything social with anyone. These are going to be my last months of ‘freedom’, do you have any recommendations to share on how I could get her back?

    Thanks.

  • If you had the choice; would you be male or female from birth?

Please note that this is from birth not just in the middle of your life.
