Is there more purpose or benefit to putting my dreads in a tam other than just to put my hair up? I've got naturally wavy hair, and I've been dreading my hair for about 3 months now. I'de also like to ask if having loose roots its normal for baby dreads. my hair is about 1.5ft. long, so the dreads won't come undone. will they start dreading upward?

I don't know why, but i can't stand being near any sort of roach. I'm perfectly fine with every other animal, including snakes, spiders, and I somehow got rid of my fear of sharks, without ever confronting a shark. There's a roach nest in my garage, and I have to run as fast as a can just to take the trash out without freaking out. I try to love every animal, and I feel bad about killing roaches whenever I come across one. After all, they're only trying to survive. I really don't know why I can't stand them. I don't think of them as dirty animals, and I wouldn't be afraid to pet a sewer rat if there weren't any risks. I'de let a big spider crawl on me without a problem, and I'de consider spiders a lot creepier than roaches. I'de like to one day be able to hold a live roach in my hand and release it outside without my head exploding from a "heeby jeeby" overload. Please, give me some tips on overcoming my phobia.
