  • Two Lumps on my neck, what is the cause?

I have two lumps, a bigger one on my gland on the side of my neck and a slightly smaller one on the bone behind my ear. They both hurt when touched and the bigger one aches constantly and causes my neck to ache. I haven't had a fever, cold or anything so they seemed out of the blue

I went to the doctors and had a blood test (testing for glandular fever especially)

The blood test came back clear so my doctor said to come back in 2 weeks and see what happens

Does this sounds familiar to anyone? Could it be cancerous (if so what type)? What are the other causes that it could be?

  • Boy stopped texting after date?

So I met this boy at a party and he asked for my number and we were talking most of the night. He asked me out the next day and we planned to meet up on the next Saturday (which was a week away) that whole week we were texting most of the day and he was so sweet and very obviously flirty. Then we had our date and it was really nice, I thought it went well. That night I texted him, but he never texted back - It's been a few weeks and he still hasn't texted, I texted him once again but stopped after that. It seems so weird that he just stopped, especially when he was the one that was quite keen in the first place, there is no other way to contact him so I can't. It's just left me confused

  • How can I stretch out my back?

I had knee pains earlier this year and went to my doctor and then I went to physio therapy for a while, it was due to tight muscles so I did stretches to make it better and it helped

Now I have back and hip pains, I don't know why, my physio said my back muscles were a bit tight but it wasn't hurting then.

I want to try to so stretches to see if it will get better, what stretches do you recommend? I want to stretch all of my back muscles

  • Where to do veterinary work experience in London?

I'm only 14 at the moment, but want to do work experience this summer when I will be 15

I live in North London so ideally would like to do it in nearer to me but do not mind going any where within London

Unfortunately my vet (which was my most obvious option) does not do it, and I have tried a few more that also don't.

I appreciate that I am quite young so may have to wait until I am 16 but am very keen to start this summer so that I can do more in total.

If any of you have contacts or have been anywhere yourselves for work experience - please let me know

It doesn't have to be in a veterinary practice, I just want to work with animals

  • Why would I have knee ache?

My knees are aching a lot lately, mostly if I am sitting down for a while or walking for more than 15 minutes. I find it almost impossible to sit crossed legged because of the immediate aching I get.

I am a 14 year old girl and am going to the doctors tomorrow but I wanted to know the possibilities

I don't do enormous amounts of excersize, just twice a week at school

    Thank you

  • Should I still do the flea treatment?

My cat (female, 10 years old) appears to have dandruff, it isn't too bad and is around her neck and shoulders - mainly just dry skin. I am taking her to the vet in a few days but I am supposed to be doing the spot-on flea treatment. Do you think it is still okay to do it? Or will it just make it worse?

  • What should my short story be about?

So I have to write a 750-1000 word short story for school but can't think of what it should be about

We have been told that it can be a gothic/supernatural story or a story of mistaken identity or one of unrequited love

I think I want to merge gothic and unrequited love but not sure how yet

Please give me some ideas for the plot, any literally!

    Thank you x

    Thank you x

  • Dog breed help me please?

I really want a dog and would do anything to have one, the only problem is my dad keeps saying they are too much work, i am prepared completely to look after the dog and someone is almost always home so it wouldn't be home alone for too long. I have been looking after my cousins dog (a cockerspaniel/labradoor mix) a lot to try to convince my dad and it is helping a bit. But i wanted to know if anyone recommends a dog breed that isn't too big, doesnt malt a lot and doesn't need alot of excersize??
