Asking for help from all Democrats?
Do we really want to be so divided that we lose in November? As we all know we are looking at the closets democratic race in recent history. Obama takes the lead then Hillary pulls ahead, then Obama claims more victories. It has become obvious that we are split almost 50/50 in who we want as our democratic nominee. This scares me because I already see after one of them is on the ballot, we will have a lot of democrats writing in the other to cast their vote. This will only make an easy victory for McCain. I’m writing to ask that you contact the Obama campaign, the Hillary campaign and even Howard dean himself and suggest that no matter who wins the democratic nomination, the other should be the running mate. This will eliminate anyone’s need to write in, it will give us a stronger ticket and I’m sure it will ensure us a victory this November. We need to vote with each other this November, not against each other. United we stand, divided we will fall.
17 AnswersElections1 decade agoI observed this at work. I changed the names to protect the innocent. Jon wanted to ask Sue a question..?
but Kim was talking to her. His question was worked related and only Sue could answer it. He waited because they were also talking about a work related issue. They didn’t even acknowledge him when he walked up. They kept talking for a few more minutes, which is a long time when you are waiting. As they were talking, Amy walked by carrying flowers. Kim turned to her and said "oh, nice flowers. Who gave them to you?". Jon took this as his chance and asked Sue his question. All three girls looked at him. Kim smiled a fake smile and said it's not polite to interrupt a conversation. Sue agreed with her!
Did Jon rudely interrupt?
11 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoWhy is it when Bush cried in public he was seen as strong but when Hillary did she was seen as a weak female?
Bush got all choked up on a few occassions, when he was talking about 9/11, when he was talking to the mothers of the soldiers killed in the war and on other occassions. Male athletes cry sometimes when they lose, sometimes when they win, note the Red Sox when they won their first World Series in 80-something years. When we see Bush or others males cry they are seen as strong or.... human. But when I female cries, like Hillary in N.H., she is seen as weak.
Someone please explain the double standard.
