i know the answer is greater than R but less than 2R, but i don't understand why?

can you also explain algebraically why when R=50m, the displacement is 71m...when i plug 50 in, i get 235m...i think i have lost it!!!!

i understand that is acceleration is the change in velocity over time. where i am getting confused is with deceleration vs. acceleration in a negative motion...how do you tell them apart on a graph?

for example, say i am going to jump in the air. i realize that from the moment i leave the ground, my acceleration will be equal to my gravity...but, what happens with my acceleration as i bend my knees down and then on my upward movement before i leave the floor...any help will be appreciated...i can't seem to get my head around this.

Just got a new Yorkie puppy. He is twelve weeks old today. I've had him for one week. The vet has told me he will be anywhere between 5 and 10lbs, which I find to be a pretty big window (she weighed him on Wednesday at 1.5 lbs). I also think her quote was just a standard Y.T. weight. I've read on other posts that you can double the pups weight at 12 weeks for their adult weight...can this be true? This doesn't match with what the vet has said. I don't have access to the parents or breeder. Weight not a concern, just curious...

I am moving out of the country and would like to bring a laptop. The battery on my current model is shot, and the laptop itself is heavy. I want something small and ultra-light. My needs are simple: I play games from time to time and need to be able to develop projects, using Microsoft products. Since, I will be out of the country (S.Korea), I want something reliable. I would also like something reasonably priced (under $1000 if possible). If you need more info, let me know.

I have accepted a job teaching in Korea. I received my Visa Confirmation Number and now need to apply for my Visa here (US). I have spoken with several consulates and read several different consulate websites and am getting conflicting information.

One site says the fee is $45; another lists $80 (both for a multiple entry).

The form from the NY consulate does not have any space to fill in my Visa Confirmation Number, which I am sure they need.

I don't live in a place where I can travel to the consulate, so I have to mail everything.

Also, I want to take care of this soon, sending in all the correct forms/payments/info on the first try.

Any guidance would greatly be appreciated.
