Not that I'm complaining or anything, but my son has been absolutely WONDERFUL at school for the past 2 or so weeks! I have NO IDEA what has changed?? We havent started medication, we havent changed his diet or started supplementing, there was a change at home (my mom finally moved out) but it started before she moved, The only thing I can think of is I told him to start coming home after school instead of going to his friends (he was there to keep her company cause she's younger and her big brother didnt get home til 4ish, but her dad got laid off so is home) But he had issues before I started letting him go over there and didnt notice it getting worse when he went over there either, so i dont think that is the thing.

Is it possible something just "clicked"? Can an age/maturity thing happen so suddenly? Again, I'm not complaining, I'm SO HAPPY he is behaving and getting his work done and his teachers are impressed and all that its just that i'm the kind of person who likes to have a reason kwim? And im also a bit scared it wont last long.... I hope it does tho I really hope this is permanent!

I'll be having my baby shower in February, and here in Wisconsin thats the coldest month of the year so there is no way it can be outside :( What are some good types of places to have a baby shower that would be pretty cheap? I have an old Nikon Coolpix 4600 that when you put a memory card in it it says the memory card is write protected. But then I put it in my newer camera and its fine. I did this with 2 memory cards to make sure it wasn't the card. Is it some sort of setting in the camera I can change or do you think the camera is dust? Thanks!!

So I had a conference with my sons teacher this morning and she said he was having trouble doing the Bal-A-Visics thing they do a couple times a week. She explained that it was basically bouncing a ball in sync with the rest of the class, and that he had to be pulled out of the circle to practice with himself or one other child, cause he just couldnt get in sync and the ball kept going all over the place. So I decided to do some research on it and cant find it ANYWHERE!! Has ANYONE heard of this??? Maybe I have it spelled wrong? Thanks!!!

So my insurance policy will change for 2009 and it simply states that elective csections will not be covered. But csections will be covered if medically necessary. WELL what about scheduled repeat csections?? My dr left it up to me whether I wanted to try for a VBAC or not and offered very little opinion but i still feel she would rather me do a repeat so among other things i decided i'll most likely do a scheduled repeat. BUT now i'm not sure if it will be covered or if I have no choice but to go for a VBAC? I'm sure a VBAC would be fine but I dont like not having the choice.... Anyone know whether repeat csections would be considered medically necessary? Thanks!!

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and my dr is insisting I get the flu shot. I have never gotten it and really dont want to get it. Everyone I know that got it this year got sick. Whether it was actually the flu or from the shot or they already had it doesnt matter, they all got sick. I'm hearing differing opinions even from other peoples dr's whether its safe during pregnancy.

I've had the flu twice in my life and they both were in the spring. I dont have a compromised immune system or anything like that.

So my questions are: did you get it? did you get sick? does your dr recommend it for pregnant women? why or why not? Thanks!!!

Do I have to buy a carseat stroller combo or can I buy them separately but still have them fit together? I found a carseat that I liked but not a stroller combo that I liked so was wondering if I found a stroller that I liked if they would still fit together if its the same brand? Thanks!

I'm debating on trying for a VBAC, but still very undecided. So I was wondering if anyone had had their csection scheduled, but went into labor before the scheduled csection if they ended up still having a csection or if there were circumstances (and what they might have been) that led them to have an "accidental" VBAC? I am 11 weeks pregnant and am starting to feel emotionally like I did when I was 15. So I thought hey I need to go out and have some fun. But can't drink (not that i drank much in the first place), can't smoke, and am broke. None of my other friends are pregnant, and the only one with a baby is too far away for me to go visit with gas prices the way they are. And I need to be away from BF cause I am apparently driving him nuts. Any ideas?

What can I do to stop her? She knows she's not supposed to, if anyone is near she won't do it or if she is already doing it and you walk in her line of site she stops. But she insists on doing it when she can't see anyone (just like a kid lol) any suggestions?

Hello! Just curious for those of you who delve into dream meanings what it means when you dream of animals? I'm 10 weeks pregnant and now I notice I've been dreaming a lot about animals. I've dreamt about a little brown rabbit, I've dreamt my white dove got mad at me and squinted her eyes at me, I've dreamt about a horse... thats all I can remember at the moment. Any ideas or am I just strange?

My last pregnancy was 10 years ago and I do not remember being this tired!!! I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and the absolute main symptom has been pretty severe fatigue. I'm also icky but haven't thrown up and my breasts are tender but my goodness i'm soooo tired constantly. I feel like i could spend ALL day in bed. I'm constantly yawning too. I've been taking naps when i can but i can't when i'm at work. I know you are supposed to be tired when pregnant but how tired is too tired? Could something else be going on? I go to my 1st prenatal dr appt on wednesday but just curious as to what you have to say. Thanks!!
