I believe in living until you die to the fullest. I believe in being truthful so if you think you might not like the answer don't ask the question. I am against big oil companies, crooked goverment, and all liars. I believe in helping someone when you can and not helping the ones that will not try and help themself. Hard work is praised and being lazy should only be a temporary state. I believe in God and Family and respecting others.

  • 2002 Buick Regal going dead when blinker is turn on.?

My mothers 2002 Buick regal is going dead when you turn the signal lights on. It has been in three different shops and no one has solved the problem. They have change the alternator, had the computer ship off and checked, tried 2 different computers, been on 2 different analyzers, check the fuel pump, maf switch, cps switch, "so they say" and have been through the column looking for a short but haven't found anything. My brother and myself are fair shade tree mechanics and we have gotten the car back home and are going to give it a try ourselves. I seen that some claim that it is a dead short in the signal switch but this is getting expensive. We need help with this.

  • Attention all plumbers: How and What is happening here and what is my best way out?

My house is built on a slab and I have a water line that has bursted under it, I Think. At least it sounds like it. First how can I tell if it is the hot water or the cold water that is bursted. I turned off the inlet on the water heater and water would still come out of the hot side of the faucet. So I thought the valve was bad, then I added a ball valve to the hot side of the water heater, turned both values off and water is still coming out of the hot side of the faucets.

    How can this be?

    Second

I am making plans to replumb the house and running it through the attic. What is the best way to locate where the line enters the house and how do I get it back through the wall and floor. This is a brick house. Also is there any tricks to running the lines through the walls to the sinks, tubs, etc. Thanks for any help.

  • Can I pour concrete over a walkway without breaking it up?

I have a walkway next to my house that leads to the front door. It is about 30" wide and looks like the brick to my house is laid on top of this. I am adding a front porch to my house that is 8' x 20'. Do you think it will be a problem pouring concrete over this. I will be building the ground up around 2" and pouring 4" over the top of it with a footing all around. The existing concrete is ground level. I was wondering about the new footing sitting on top of the old concrete and being next to the brick on my house.

  • Have any of you ever been close to death and now you feel different about it?

I was very very close to death in a motorcycle accident years ago. I had this feeling when I was laying in the road that I could choose death. Like death had his hand out welcoming me. It was a peaceful feeling with no pain, no worries. I wasn't scared and it was going to be one of the easiest thing I had ever done.

Ever since that time I do not fear dying, I know it will be easy when the time comes. After that experience I look at everything differently. Like I said before it was years ago and my opion hasn't change since that night.

  • Garage door not opening all the way. Why?

I have greased, unpluged, checked the worm gear, opened it manualy to make sure no restriction exist. It will come up about 2 feet and stop. I can hit the remote again and then it will continue upward. I have turned the pressure up button wide open but nothing has helped it. Anyone one have any Ideas on what to try next or what it could be. Thanks

  • Slave cylinder leaking will this help?

I have a 94 Madza 4x4 with manual trans. I just had rotator cuff surgery so I am not able to pull the transmission. The slave cyclinder is leaking pretty bad, I have to refill it every day or so. I was wondering if I could start putting hydralic oil in it instead of brake fluid to slow down or stop the leak temporary until I am able to replace it. Or are there any better solutions.

  • I had rotator cuff surgery Jan 26 and I don't think it has healed right.?

I had a complete tear of the tendon and had it orthroscopy repaired but 3 months now down the road I still cannot lift my arm. I been going to thearpy 3 times a week. They kelp me in the block for 2 months which has made it even more stiffer. I am still having pain and like I said cannot lift it in front of me or out from my side but about half way. The last the doctor told me was when he took the block off that it would be 4 more months off work. Does all of this sound right.
