what is the ultimate purpose of religion? none can be proven and all are wrong. throughout history we have been socially engineered to believe everything we do in life was predetermined. impossible. why would we be allowed to make choices. religion like government is a means of controlling the population. so again what is the purpose of religion?
10 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agowhy are we stuck with the same ideas about life in space?
here on earth scientist believe that in order for life to exist on other planetary systems their must be conclusive evidence of water or some type of sustainable atmosphere. to begin with even here on earth we have organisms that thrive and survive in some of the most harshest environments from gas spewing geysers under water to some of the deepest caves where no light and maybe even water are not. it is called adaptability and evolution. so tell me why would it not be possible for there to be life anywhere else but on earth. for every action there is a reaction what if these laws don't apply to outer space. what if we are going about measurements in space completely wrong. we cannot apply any type of mathematics in outer space neither basic nor physics. maybe there s a 4th or 5th dimension, space is not 3 dimensional. maybe we need to rethink math and its application in space. life can exist in so many places maybe we're just doing something wrong.
