  • restarting the computer a lot?

    is it okay to restart the computer often (how much wear & tear does this cause) i do this to switch between operating systems, and I am not waiting for a while with it off and then turning it on, but just restarting. is this bad?

  • ubuntu suspend not working?

    in ubuntu, my computer suspends fine, but it won't wake up from suspend. i have been using the -16 kernel instead of the -17 kernel to fix this, but now with the -18 release, why haven't they fixed this, and if they have, why won't it work for me?
