So I want to become a fashion designer and have worked extremely hard in the last years to get into a good uni and I live in the uk, 2 hours away from london, i applied to Istituto Marangoni and a local university that both do a a fashion degree. Istituto Marangoni has lot of teaching experience and a great reputation in the fashion industry, however it is 2 hours away and the accommodation costs a lot in london, also in the hall we are limited on the items we bring and for a fashion student i would need lots of things like mannequins, sewing machines, books art supplies e.c.t and the rooms are small and can cook 200-300 per week! This doesn't include food, train tickets, washing clothes e.c.t. Also they are very funny about bringing guests in the building and I would feel trapped and lonely. I also have a lot of anxiety and feeling like its hard to make friends after living in so many countries and this could have an effect living in a big city. I dont get home sick but i am not sure anymore.

Whilst on the other hand the local university is offering the fashion course for the first year so they dont have much experience but i would live at home. I dont know what to do and whether it is worth going to a city and taking a degree but spending almost everything i have or staying local (maybe not getting the best experience because it is far from london and the capital) and staying at home?

Istituto Marangoni Living= 15,000 per year (student acc, food, transport, going to galleries) + 7,000 tuition

Local Uni Living= Free + 9,000 tuition (fully covered)

I got a C in ICT, which is a hard exam but i was 1 mark off a D, I usually get straight A's on class tests which are practice papers.

I also got an A in product design but it was only just an A

So i have a youtube account which i have had since 2006, it was linked to a ntlworld email address but i dont know how to access ntl anymore and i dont think its possible to change your youtube email address is it? What can i do?

Hi there I have been on youtube for almost 6 years now and when i first used the sight i was really into it, i gained over 400,000 views combined but then kind of left it because of school. Now i want to get back into it. What kind of videos should i make i am confused

I cant cook because i'm not very good at it, vlogging random things? Holidays? I dont really know what to do, does anyone have ideas for videos you think are missing a gap on youtube.com?

Hi there i just finished my gcse's and i am going to stay to do my a levels in year 12 and 13. before finishing my gcse's i picked travel, business, ict and textiles but i want to study fashion, my mum was a fashion designer and i feel like its in the blood. i got an a* in art for gcse's but it drove me insane, with the exams and coursework! I love creativity but i just feel like it could take over both years. I also got a*'s in textiles and ict but i need to do business and i quite like travel.

So what should i do?

do i need art for fashion school/ is a gcse okay in art or do i need the a level?

I need help as i have admissions day on monday and i am panicking!
