Injured gum directly below front tooth, will it grow back?

Yesterday I was laying on my bed, put my hand on my chin and noticed a soreness, think I injured my gum somehow but after talking to some people I'm really freaked out that it could be the beginning of ginvitis BUT I try to take really good care of my teeth because I need work done but don't have dental insurance and can't afford it right now. I don't have bad breath but genetically don't have great teeth and when I was young I drank alot of Cola, didn't floss alot, have plaque and I smoke socially.

Do you think this will grow back?? It's pretty sore. Any tips for someone w/o insurance or money?

  • It's been 3 months and chigger bite won't heal, why?

3 months ago I was out, not even out in the country just a friends back yard and got like 6 chigger bites in my bra line. They were huge and swollen when itchy but just tiny dots when they weren't, first those are chigger bites right? From everything I've read that seems like them for sure.

So the problem is all of the other bites have long since healed except this one and it's driving me bonkers! What else could this be? Why is the itch still an issue? I'm able to relieve the itch temporarily with this awesome poison ivy cream and I'm putting neosporin on it like crazy to try to pull any infection out but nothing is working...and I don't have insurance to see a specialist.

If anyone can help I'd appreciate some feedback

  • Arm, hands, and fingers go numb; could I have carpel tunnel?

For about two weeks now, I wake up with my whole right arm (fingers too) completely numb and to the point that it's painful. No matter how much I move it around, elevate my feet, or hit stuff it my hand won't wake up for hours.

I'm 28 and just started a new job in a kitchen (chef apprentice) so my hands are moving around alot but the thing is I do so many different jobs I don't really think I'm doing repetitive motions (that are the same) all day. And as for being on the computer, I'm only on maybe an hour and a half a day.

Can't see a doctor (no insurance), got any ideas on what's causing this and how I can alleviate the pain??

  • What at-home hair color should I use, semi-permanent or permanent?

Naturally my hair is very dark brown, just a little warmer than black. I went blonde in August and have been getting my roots done but it's getting to be too expensive for me to keep going back so I want to just go back to my natural color. My roots are grown out!

I have no choice but to get an at-home kit, should I use semi-permanent or permanent. Whenever I get my hair color done at the salon they use semi-permanent but I've never had it colored when my hair is bleached so what should I do? Any brands you recommend?

Advice from a professional would be very helpful, thanks!

  • Why do my ribs hurt when I cough, I fell on my head?!?

I slipped on a large sheet of ice outside two days ago and landed straight on the back of my head. The rest of that night and the next day I had a major headache, with pain swelling all over (front, back, sides, eyes). But I had no vomiting or even dizziness and was able to sleep. Two days past and now my neck hurts on the sides and my ribs hurt (in the front) when I cough. But I've also had a bit of a cold so I'm wondering if I'm just coming down with the flu now.

What do you think it is??

  • Is my betta a fat male or a female with eggs?

Trying to figure out what's going on with my betta. It's pretty much all red and compared to the other bettas I've seen it has shorter fins. I always thought it was a girl but now with this bulge I'm wondering because there are no other bettas in the tank so it can't reproduce right?

So it could be an overweight male right?

Now, it DOES have that white drop looking thing on it's belly so what's that? Does that mean it's a female for sure? Carrying eggs? Can it reproduce with my algae eater or mollies?

  • What killed my Molly?

I had a male and female. The male died after two weeks and two days later there are babies. Is it possible that the female killed the male to protect the babies or something? How can I keep the babies alive?

  • I know a little Korean already, should I take Chinese or German in school?

I'm currently a sophmore in college and need to start working on my foreign language credits. I tried taking French last semester but it was too hard for me to understand. I'm thinking an asian language would suit me better since I already understand how the Korean language is set up and what not. But, one of my friends suggested German. But the whole french thing threw me off of Europe.

What language do you think would be more beneficial and do you think it I would be at advantage in the class (if I took Chinese) because I already know some Korean?
