cool name
Christians, assuming you have different 'spirits/demons' for different evil acts/thoughts?
How many demons/evil spirits would you say I have?
I _love_ porn.
futa, furry, gay (both m/m and f/f), straight, BDSM, and bestiality. (Fairly sure that's all of them)
I dislike God (as a fictional concept, the same way a lot of people don't like Sauron, or think Gandalf is a useless wizard. Because I'm an atheist, and don't believe he actually exists.)
I steal things
I lie a lot
I hate round people... (no particular reason, just something about them really chaps my khakis.)
So, adding all of that together, according to your particular beliefs, how many evil spirits/demons am I possessed by?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristians, do you _really_ want to find the truth?
After all, there are a lot of different religions, and if we really want to find the right one shouldn't they all be held to the same standard of proof?
So that being said, if the requirement for Christianity not being true is for non-believers to prove that it isn't, shouldn't it be required for Christians to disprove every religion they claim to be false, using only evidence they would accept as proof that Christianity is false?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAnyone else wonder why so many straight people seem to come here for advice?
I mean.... I'm not going to say 'no, you can't ask for advice here because you're straight!'
But... y'know, they _do_ have a 'relationships' section for this sort of thing. Sooooo.... yeah, anyone else wondering about this?
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agoKirchoff's voltage law?
Ok, so according to my book (Electronics for dummies) voltage is the measurement of the difference between strength of the 'push' of electrons at one point from that of another. Simple enough so far, right?
But then along comes Kirchoff's voltage law, and that apparently states that when you start off you're at "0 voltage", then you get to your load and you 'drop voltage' leaving you at (for the sake of argument) "1.5 voltage" so that's easy to understand. What _I_ don't get is the next part, which is when the current reaches the 'end of the line' (so to speak) you're _back_ at 0. So, where did the extra 'pressure' come from?
3 AnswersEngineering8 years agoForgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm completely new to lasers.?
You know how in movies you always see that laser device that has, like, four different beams pointed down at an angle, then they all hit one singular point and somehow go straight forward into a single powerful beam? Is that in any way possible? Because it seems like it really shouldn't be, but... y'know.
4 AnswersPhysics8 years agoHow can Christians be moral if they don't believe in Vishnu? Is that even possible?
Everyone knows all morals come from Vishnu (...I think... I'm not actually sure who that is, to be honest.) How can Christians claim to be moral people when they reject the _only_ source of morals in the _entire_ world, which is Lord Vishnu... in case you haven't been paying attention.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoRight, so here's the question...?
HYPOTHETICALLY speaking, I.E. just PRETEND that hell is real for the sake of this question
could goat's blood be the preferred renewable fuel for hell, and _that's_ why you always see it as a requirement in satanic rituals performed in movies and whatnot? Cause it's the equivalent of paying for gas?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristians, wouldn't it be better to die valiantly in battle and go to Valhalla?
than to die normally, and wind up in Hel? After all, if you _do_ die in glory, and there _isn't_ a Valhalla, then you haven't really lost anything. But of you didn't die in battle, and there _is_ a Valhalla, then you're kinda screwed aren't you?
"The realm of punishment was a shore made of corpses called Náströnd within Hel. Her realm is separated from the world of the living by a rapid river across which leads the Gjallarbrú that the dead have to pass. The gates are heavy, and close behind those who pass it and will never return again. Hel is the final destination of those who do not die in battle, but of old age or disease."
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoSatan here. What can I do ya for?
was just in the neighborhood, decided to ha...ahhh, _possess_ this account, and perhaps do some people a favor or two. In exchange for souls, of course. So... what can I do for you?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy _don't_ you worship Satan?
You can even be an atheist while doing it. It's called 'atheistic satanism'.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAtheists, Christians, my fellow business minded individuals?
Do you realize that religions are founded upon the most sound business models I have ever seen, and they were created by people back when 'social psychology' was basically a giant game of 'one of these things is not like the other', where the odd man out got murdered?
If you do, how amazed are you that it took legitimate business people _this_ long to start actually utilizing that strategy?
(If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up Simon Senec, then compare his business model with religion.)
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years ago"Message not sent" I keep getting emails that tell me my messages are not going through?
Thing is, I haven't _sent_ any freaking messages. Did I get hacked by a spambot or something?
1 AnswerSecurity8 years agoSo, how exactly does 'micro evolution' (aka: natural selection) not lead to macro evolution?
I hear people say all the time "well of course _micro_ evolution exists. But macro evolution is impossible. It's just a lie." and I have to ask myself. 'Self... What the **** are these people on?' Seriously, how does 'micro evolution' + time _not_ equal 'macro evolution'?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy are there so many questions about straight relationships on the LGBT forum?
Honestly, I ain't even mad. But it does seem a bit odd.
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years ago'All the best guysare gay'. Have you heard that said?
Or if you're a woman have you ever thought that? And then gone on to wonder something along the lines of 'why are a lot of guys are complete douchebags to women?' Because I don't know about you, but I'm seeing a connection on this one. Namely guys who want women are douchebags because women almost always want them (for a while, at least) hence the reason douchebags are always either currently in a relationship, or in a 'break up' phase. Gay guys are 'the best' because they're not after women.
What'cha think?
8 AnswersGender Studies8 years agoWhat mathematical formulae did whoever it was use to prove that the earth was a sphere?
I've been looking for quite some time now, but something has ****** my google up so now every time I try to click a link, it redirects me to an advertising site... So just wth did these people do to prove the earth was sphere? It's driving me up the wall.
(Obviously they did it without advanced tech, so I need a way that I can gather a bit of info, then walk outside to a suitable locaton and reproduce the same results.)
4 AnswersMathematics8 years agoAthiests. Should we be using simpler terms when talking to believers?
I know from my time as a christian that terms like 'false dichotomy' and 'logical fallacy' are about as incomprehensible as a lunatics raving gibberish. And maybe it's just me, but I would have become an atheist a lot faster if someone had taken the time to explain these terms when they used them, or simply used more simple easy to understand words. After all, religions aren't exactly happy to teach their members anything that could lead to them leaving said religion.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDo you know what a 'false dichotomy' is without looking it up on Google?
I sure as hell didn't.
