I love turtles and currently have 6 box turtles, 1 Russian tortoise, and 1 red eared slider. My oldest boxie has been with me for 43 years.
Has anyone else noticed that there is another new group of point gamers copying questions from years ago, word for word?
This began a couple of days ago. All of them have new accounts created 2/22/17 and set to private.
4 AnswersYahoo Answers4 years agoDo you want to know the purpose of all the questions being copied from years ago?
They are now answering each other's questions and will probably be awarded Best Answer. This question was copied and my answer was plagiarized:

3 AnswersYahoo Answers6 years agoHow long does it take for a cockatiel's flight feathers to grow back?
I purchased a baby (10 week old) cockatiel a week ago. The breeder routinely clips flight feathers on their young birds. I'm guessing this is to aid in hand taming, since my bird is extremely tame and friendly. Both the breeder and my avian vet recommend that birds be allowed to become fully flighted as they mature, and I would love for my cockatiel to be able to exercise by flying around inside my house.
How long does it generally take for a young cockatiel to regrow its flight feathers? My little guy keeps trying to fly, and it's sad to watch him "thump" to the ground.
1 AnswerBirds7 years agoHey snake owners, are these foolish statements?
"...anyone who has rodent companions must not be a true rodent lover if they think snakes "have" to have rodents. They do not. They can eat other things, and certainly do not "need" live rodents."
"...there are enough people who think rats and mice expendable. A couple of so called rat fans on here admittedly highly promote the use of rats and mice for snake food. One claims snakes will only eat rodents, yet time and time again people ask what to do with a mouse a snake refused to eat so apparently not. We feed Domestic rats and mice different food than Wild rats and mice so why not Domestic snakes?"
These remarks were part of answers to questions posted in the Rodent section of Y/A. I'm a turtle person myself, but I think snakes are awesome creatures and would love to perhaps own one someday. Everything I've read says that mice and rats are the natural diet for snakes, whether wild or "domestic." Has this person's fanatacism for rodents has caused her to refuse to acknowledge facts and try to convince others that they should not be used for snake food, or is there REALLY a substitute for mice and rats as a nutritious diet for snakes? Salads or pasta, perhaps...LOL?

8 AnswersReptiles8 years agoPeople copying answers from others?
Is there anything that can be done about people who just copy answers (word for word) someone else has given to the same question? I came across a person who just joined Y/A today and already has over 200 points...all from answers copied directly from others' responses. It's frustrating for those of us who do research and try to give correct and helpful answers. "August Rush Double Points" seems to have brought out a lot of cheaters and trolls!
4 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agospam with no sender address?
Recently I've started receiving spam e-mails in which the sender's name is blank. I can't set up a filter for these, because there's nothing to enter in the "sender" box and the subject is always different. I just delete them without opening, but is there any way to block these aggravating things?
1 AnswerAbuse and Spam8 years agohow can I get rid of the pch animated ad?
The one with the people running across the screen. It appears everytime I return to my yahoo homepage. At first it was just distracting, but now it's becoming increasingly annoying.
