  • Why is AC freezing up after replacing fan motor? ?

Hello prior to having to replace the fan motor the AC never froze up.  Since changing the condenser fan motor the AC is now freezing up.   The fan is compatible except instead of 1100 rpm it spins at 1050 rpm.  My old fan motor was a 3 wire the new one is a 4 wire but I just capped off the white and brown wire .   The blade is spinning the correct way and the filters are new and the coils are clean.  The condenser is also open with nothing blocking airflow and clean.    When I set the temp high enough the unit turns on and shuts off like it should but when I go down to 71-72 it freezes up.    Any ideas?

  • Ring camera problems?

Have a ring spotlight camera and all of a sudden it started showing battery 3% and would not connect video.   Tried 2 additional batteries and problem persisted.   Purchased another ring  spotlight camera with new battery and same problem.  Called ring tech support and I did everything he said to try and it still did not work.  He said I received a faulty unit and to return it and try again.   Returned the unit and the third one will not connect either and occasionally it says streaming error.   I followed all the instructions + troubleshooting instructions exactly and problems continue.   Any suggestions on what the problem could be?   Could it be a wifi issue and not an actual problem with the ring itself since the same problem has happened 3x now with 2 of the rings being brand new?

  • Springfield Armory M1A Scope and accuracy question?

Hello,  I have an M1A in 308 it has the short barrel with flash suppressor on the end and I was told that a scope wont hold 0 on this rifle because of the short barrel and kick of the gun.   Does this sound correct?  If not what are some scope options for this model rifle?  Also is this a rifle that can produce sub MOA groups?

How can I mount desk legs on this top I made?

My son asked me to make him a rustic looking walnut desktop and he wants these legs mounted on it.   The wood is only 3:4” thick and I’m not sure how to mount the legs so they will be secure?   I was thinking of routing out an rare exactly the size of each legs screw bar and same depth of the top bar then using wide short wood screws with wood glue or epoxy to hold them in place ?   Would this work or do you have any other ideas?

  • Help with T12 ballast wiring?

I have a very old 2 bulb T12 fixture that the ballast went bad on.   The old fixture has 1-white 1-black 2-yellow 2-red and 2-blue wires. The old ballast had all matching wires to go along with the wires in the fixture.    The person at the light store told me they do not make the same ballast anymore but gave me a newer ballast that he said would work.

The new ballast has 1-black 1-white 1-yellow 1-red and \1-blue.   Could someone please tell me how to wire this new ballast to the existing wires in the fixture?   Thank you for any assistance you can provide
