Chef Bob

attend the viewing but I do not want this to be my last memory of my Dad. I have many, many fond memories of a great man...You see Chef Bob was here for a REASON, he knew that his time was near, his family however DID NOT. I discovered this forum and my Father's posts by chance ( guessed his password) . Just so you know my Father NEVER went out and openly tried to save anyone like many other Christians do....the fact that he answered so MANY questions here since just Dec 2006 was the complete opposite of his character! He knew something and he was ready to leave our world to be with the Lord. This doesn't help me any in dealing with my loss of my only parent. He passed in his sleep and I don't think he ever knew what happed. He was only 63. Godspeed Dad, we love you.

Life is not a video game that, after you die, you can reset back to where you saved it last and try again. If you do not make the right choice now, it has terrible, terrible eternal consequences. Do you not realize that there is a fierce spiritual battle going on between God and Satan over YOUR soul right now, as you read this? Do you, the created, really think you are more intelligent than The Creator and have all the answers? Would you really choose an eternity in Hell rather that admit God exists and that Jesus Christ died to save YOU?

The Joy of Being Retired

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make

their days interesting.

Well, for example, the other day I went

downtown and went into a shop. I was only in there for about 5

minutes and when I came out there was a cop writing out a parking

ticket.

I went up to him and said, "Come on, man, how about giving a retired

person a break"?

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket.

I called him a "Nazi" .

He glared at me and started writing another

ticket for having worn tires.

So I called him a "doughnut eating

Gestapo."

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield

with the first.

Then he started writing a third ticket.

This went on for about 20

minutes.

The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I didn't care.

I came downtown on the bus.....

and the car

that he was putting the tickets on had a bumper sticker that said

"Hillary in '08."

I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm

retired.

It's important to my health.
