  • Help! Nostalgic/Depressed?

Whenever I think of the time during my childhood, which was the 90's, I get this lump in my throat, and sometimes I even cry. The thing is I don't know why I feel this way, and this has been going on for years. I'm 19 now, but for example on New Year's Eve in 1997, I remember crying because I didn't want the year to change to 1998. I was sad about time passing by then, and I was 7! I don't know why I get really emotional thinking about growing up, but it's something I've always struggled with, and I have no clue what to do about it. Like, whenever I watch a show from, say VH1, and they talk about music and stuff from the 90's, I get really sad, like as if someone died. Another example is that I became a Nirvana fan a few months ago, and I was VERY upset when I found out that Kurt Cobain died in '94. But I don't even think the tears are about him so much as it is that he's sort of a physical representation of the 90's being over. It's almost like a really intense nostalgia, like I would do anything to go back in time and relive through the 90's. I know I sound crazy, but it is really starting to take a toll on me, especially when I have important things going on now, like college. I don't have a history of mental health problems either. Please do not say anything hurtful, I really just want to feel better. And if no one has advice, thanks for letting me vent, I guess.

  • Help with becoming a brunette?

I want to color my hair medium-dark brown. It is currently strawberry-blonde. I have warm pale skin, blue-green eyes, and freckles. I don't want to post a pic, but I have the same coloring as Nicole Kidman except with freckles. What shade of brown do you recommend that you think will look good with my skin and eyes?

  • Playboy! Please Help! Pros and cons of posing...?

I'm doing a presentation for school on Playboy. I'm very interested in the Girls Next Door and Playboy. I don't know what specific point I will argue yet, so I'm hoping to get some ideas from all of you. Can you tell me what the pros and cons are if a girl becomes a playmate. You can expand it to any aspect of life, but please don't be disrespectful. Thank-you!

  • Help with styling my hair!?

I want to grow my hair long, just below my breasts. Right now it's shoulder length. In order to reduce damage, I need to learn how to style my hair without a flat iron or curling iron or blow dryer, which I'm addicted to. My hair is fine, and medium thickness. It's naturally wavy, but kind of straight too. Any ideas on how to style my hair without heat.

  • Can help me decide....?

If I have a warm or cool skin undertone? Also, can you tell me what my face shape is? This is not one of those stupid, "Am I hot?" scams. I really cannot determine my skin undertone and face shape, and I would like some appropriate opinions.

  • Does anyone actually recall...?

this weird website or something from what I guess was a few years ago? Theres this page called jasonkill.com, where this creepy guy is obsessed with Hermione from Harry Potter, and can't wait until she turns 18. (similar to the Olsen twins) Anyways, the page is no longer in existence, and I haven't seen it, but I'm really curious to know what this guy did that was so weird. There are threads throughout the internet that keep bashing on how perverted this guy is, but there aren't any examples. Curiosity is getting the best of me, so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, can you tell me what this guy did?

  • What is my skin tone?

Can someone help me determine whether I have warm, cool, or neutral skin? I have very fair skin that burns easily. My veins are blue and so are my eyes. However I have strawberry blonde hair, freckles, and the hair on my arms is a golden blonde.

  • Cheaper nose job?

Before I ask my question, let me assure you that I am a great candidate for a nose job, and I'm not sacrificing my safety to save money. Okay, here is my question. If I volunteer to be a surgical demonstration (I'm talking about the patients that professors/surgeons operate on in front of students) would that cut surgical costs? If anyone has any information whatsoever, please tell me. Thanks!

  • Megan Fox's Tattoo?

I really like Megan's tattoo on her right shoulder, the one that says, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies" I'm thinking of getting it myself, but I want some opinions. What would you think if you saw a girl sporting a Shakespeare quote?

  • Is University of Arizona a good school?

I'm thinking of applying to U of A for nutrition, but being from Illinois I'm not familiar with its reputation. Academically, is it good? Are the professors helpful? Are the students there Barbies and Kens, or are they actually real, humble kids? Would you say it's a top national university. I appreciate any input.
