Hi, I'm William. I like two stroke motorcycles, I like to write fiction.
Should I trade in or keep my 2019 Honda Civic LX?
I bought a new 2019 Honda Civic LX sedan manual in February 2020. I only drive 16.000 kilometers per year. I was thinking of trading the Honda in just before the 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty expires. On the other hand, I like the car and am also thinking of keeping it 8-10 years. What is the best way to go? Should I trade in 3 years or keep it for 8-10 years. Thank you.
7 AnswersHonda9 months agomotorcycles: I have a 2007 Kawasaki 650R Ninja with 3,850 miles in great condition. I'm thinking of trading my 650R for a 2019 Yamaha MT-07?
or a 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400. Thank you for your comments.
3 AnswersMotorcycles2 years agoIs it worth trading in a 2007 Kawasaki 650R for a 2006 Kawasaki Z750S?
My 650R is mint with 2,150 miles, and the Z750S has 12,000 miles and is very clean.
I thought that I've never ridden an inline 4, and this Z would similar bars as the 650.
Please no haters and rude comments.
3 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agoHow many years from the year the motorcycle was built should you hold onto it before the parts become too expensive? Thank you.?
For example I was interested in buying a 2006 Honda CBR600f4i until I looked up the price of the fairing pieces. Just a small piece of the fairing was over $600. Of course they charge that price because they want you to buy a new motorcycle.
13 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agoI want to try having two motorcycles?
Right now I have a 2007 Kawasaki 650R Ninja. It only has 2,100 miles. I also want to buy a 1998 Harley Dyna with only 11,000 miles. Both bikes are in mint condition. I have free parking for both bikes but outside. For insurance it would be an extra $600 per year. I thought I would try to swing it because the maintenance costs will be low for a few years.
Thank you.
3 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agoCould a Harley Davidson Dyna model be good for two up riding for fairly long distances?
I know a Road King would be better for two up riding, but I like the looks of the Dynas. Which Dyna model would be the best for two up riding? I like the Superglide and some Convertibles.
Thank you.
Motorcycles4 years agoI live in Canada and want to buy an older Harley Davidson from the USA?
I want to import an older Harley Davidson motorcycle from the USA because the really nice ones seem to be in the USA.
With the difference in the dollar, shipping, customs, it would cost me just a bit more from buying in Canada. Would it be worth it?
Thank you.
2 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agoWould it be too costly to add a second motorcycle?
I have a sport bike which is almost new so there should only be oil changes for a few years. I want to add a Harley Dyna with 37,000 miles. I'd have to pay an extra $65 a month for insurance for the Harley. As far as running costs, I thought it would be a wash because you're riding each bike half as much? Thank you.
5 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: I'm interested in 2002 Harley Dyna Low Rider at a dealer with 41,000 miles. Is this too many miles to consider buying?
How long could engine last if I took good care of it: changed the oil, didn't ride it hard etc. Thanks.
17 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: Does a Twin Cam 96 Harley Davidson engine have to be serviced at a HD dealership?
I was wondering if a 2008 Harley Twin Cam 96 engine had to be plugged into a
computer at the HD dealership? Thank you.
5 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: Is it a mistake to buy a 1998 Harley Davidson Dyna with the 1340 Evolution motor rather than buying new?
I've heard the late model Twin Cam engines run hot with other issues too.
Could the 1998 Dyna be a reliable runner?
Thank you.
8 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: Would it be too expensive and worrisome to have two motorcycles?
I have a 2007 Kawasaki 650R Ninja, but I'm thinking of buying a 1995 Harley Dyna also. The insurance would be $700 a year more for the two bikes. I thought perhaps the maintenance costs would be the same as one bike because I'm sharing the bikes.
I have parking outside for both during the riding season.
6 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: Should it be a concern buying a 1995 Harley Davidson Dyna with 41,000 miles in excellent condition?
I have an indy mechanic to save on costs, but can I get parts for this 1995?
Thank you for your comments.
12 AnswersMotorcycles4 years agomotorcycles: Should I avoid buying a 2002 Harley Dyna because of the cam chain tensioner shoes issues?
What would be an economical fix if there is even a fix?
Thank you for your comments?
