I'm generally not into getting month anniversary gifts, but this is the first time I've been in a relationship that has lasted 6 months, and luckily its with my best friend! I just have no idea of what to get for him. He's not really materialistic at all. Any ideas for something cute, inexpensive and memorable that isn't just "stuff"?

The other day, my guy friend randomly suggested that he and I make dinner together tomorrow night so he is coming over to my house and some of our friends keep saying that it sounds like a date but neither of us established it as a date or have even said that we're interested in each other... but last week he said that we act like a couple so I am just curious to see what people outside of the situation think. Do you think he likes me and this is some kind of date, or what?

A guy friend of mine told me that his mom thinks that we would be perfect together and that his family thinks that we're dating... I didn't really know what to say to this so we just joked about going out and what not... Why would he tell me something like that? It kind of freaked me out a bit... we're not that close. I mean I like him, but now I feel like he thinks that going out with me is a joke or something, but my other friend said that she thinks he's hinting at wanting something to happen between us... How should I respond to stuff like that? Do you think that he's hinting at anything? I'm just really confused and I need someone on the outside to help clear things up. A guy friend of mine had recently been saying things about how we like each other as more than friends and are in a relationship and we love each other and about how he got out of the friend zone with me and I just find it strange. He's pretty shy so I can't really see him as being someone who plays with emotions so I don't know if he is just jokin around because we're friends or if that's something that he actually thinks about or hopes will happen. Any thoughts or advice? By the way, I do like him

I've been talking to this guy every day for about a year. At this point we just hang out in big groups and he and I joke about going out and being married (because a lot of people think that we are going out...) but he just confuses me so much because whenever we're together in a large group, he will not talk to me... He'll say hi to my girl best friends and then not even say a word to me, then if we're sitting around a table and there's a seat next to me, he won't sit there, he'll either sit across from me or far away from me... but then as soon as we all leave he'll text me to say something random and pointless... Then a few times he has complained that we never hug each other good-bye, but then when we're all saying bye he won't even touch me but he'll hug my friends...so i don't know if he just doesn't like me at all or he's just intimidated or what... Thank you to anyone who answers or gives me some insight here!

What do guys mean when they say that you're "Hard to get"?

Recently had a guy friend of mine tell me that he thinks I'm "hard to get." My frist thought was "Oh no, he thinks that I'm a snob" so I joked around about it, but he said that he was being serious and that it was a compliment so I just thanked him and let the subject drop. What does being "hard to get" mean as a compliment? Everytime I've heard the term used, it's been a term that means that the person is being snobby and is playing games to try to make people chase after them

I just need help figuring out how to solve some math problems. My teacher doesn't explain very well so I'm mixing things up a lot.

1) A card is drawn at random from a standard 52-card deck. What are the odds that the card drawn will NOT be a queen?

2) A family is selected at random from a city. Find the probability that the size of the family is less than 5. Round the answer to three decimal places (I made a table below)

A guy friend of mine recently started joking about us being in a relationship and he'll say things about us being in love with each other and me being "the one"... Does he like me or something? Because apparently a lot of people think that we're going out and I feel like he's playing off of that or something. I mean I like him and I'd be into going out with him if he's into it.

Solve the system of equations.... and how to write the solution as an ordered pair? (example from book:)

3x+2y+z=8

2x-3y+2z=-16

x+4y-z=20

Basically I just want someone to explain to me how this works and to write out the equation so that I can see. My teacher doesn't really explain anything so I'm confused.

This guy that I'm into keeps joking about us going out, and joking about being in love with me... Obviously he's just kidding... but how should I respond to stuff like this? And do you think there is some truth behind what he's joking about?

Does it mean anything when a guy jokes about dating you?

Saying things like, "We should just tell people that we're going out so that they'll stop asking us if we are."

and, "We don't need to find anyone to date because we're dating now, don't you remember?"

or do guys just joke about this for no reason? Like what...?

I want to stress the words "Guy" and "Friend". As in, just friends Not dating. Not "bf gf". None of that. Just a guy friend who may or may not be interested in you. Thanks :)

We've been talking and what not for several months (probably a little over 8?) and he's told me a few times that he wants to meet my family... We aren't dating, in fact... There hasn't been any talking OF dating... So I'm a little confused to say the least

One of my guy friends is constantly mean to me when we're with our group of friends. He usually isn't mean at all when we hang out alone... My friends tell me that he probably just likes me because he's "teasing" me... But sometimes I feel like he's just showing that he DOESN'T like me "like that".

So my question is how do you tell whether or not a guy is just being plain mean to you, or is just teasing you because he likes you?
