I'm really new to the online dating scene, but it seems like a good way to meet people you might not otherwise have the chance or the guts to approach, so I'm trying it out.

Now, normally girls I've dated, I've been friends with for a while before, so I've never even really had a date with someone I haven't known for a while. Since those relationships didn't work out, I want to try something new and see what I can find. Learning lots, but now I have a problem.

I've been talking to a nice, cute girl on Plenty of Fish for a few days, and I would like to meet her soon, but I have no idea how to go about it. I'm not sure if I should just ask for her number, or give her mine, or should I ask to meet her and if she responds positively, go for a number then?

And how big is the window of opportunity, generally speaking? I don't want to move too soon and scare her off, but I don't want to wait too long and look uninterested, or have her lose interest.

I'm the best man for my friend's wedding next month, and I'm trying to think of clean ideas for a bachelor party. I'm not sure what kinds of things are "normal"...but we're all Salvation Army boys, so no drinking, nudey bars or gambling...what else does that leave us with?! Can we just go to a restaurant and have a meal, maybe give him bachelor-gifts or something?

My girlfriend left for Cuba for a week on Friday, and yesterday (Saturday) my grandmother passed away. I've emailed her a few times to tell her, give her updates and such, but I don't know how much access she'll have to the internet. Is there a way that I can leave a message with the resort she's staying at to make sure she'll get it and be able to call so I can let her know? It may not seem such a big deal to some, but it's a bad time to lose family and I really want to be able to talk to her even for a few minutes. It would make me feel a bit better.

The last couple times I've sign on to MSN, I've received this message from "Windows Live(TM) Messenger Service Staff", saying this:

Is this legitimate, or is it a phishing scam? If it is real, why am I required to do this? Do I have to create an entirely new email address, notify everyone on my contact list, and then change EVERY single thing that has my current email address listed? I sincerely hope not, because that is a massive inconvenience to me.

I'm going to be in Newfoundland all summer, from May until September, and I was wondering if the Northern Lights ever make an appearance over Newfoundland, and how common it is if they do? I've never seen it before and would love to.

I've always wondered how common it is to get along very well with a significant other's family. I've had bad experiences in the past, but now I've seen the good side of this stuff, with my girlfriend's family who are all great, funny, and I love them to death, as they do with me.

So how 'bout it? How well do YOU get along with your significant other's family? Stories, both good and bad, would be fun to read!!

So yeah. I'm not one to normally do this...but idunno, maybe it's fun to hear how other people perceive us. I think we're pretty darn good together, largely because IIIIII think she's the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen! She makes up for me...haha
