Are there any shops or markets near Changi Airport, Singapore?
We will be in transit for several hours, arriving about 5pm. We will be too late for a free bus tour of the city, but would like to go to some shops outside the airport. Is there anything that is very close that we can go to for an hour or so?

I have been waiting seemingly forever for this series to come back. Does anyone know of any dates of series 4 airing?
5 AnswersDrama10 years agoWhen is Culture and History Week in Italy?
Last year, we went to Italy in late April/early May, and found ourselves in the middle of a week of art, culture and history in Italy, where many museums and art galleries were free to enter across Italy. We were planning to go again, but could not find out any dates for the week in 2012 and 2013. Anyone know when these weeks are, and if they are annual events?
2 AnswersOther - Italy10 years agoI'll be in Berlin for a few days in May. What is the best way to get around? day tickets? Passes etc?
Is it best to buy a weekly ticket or multi-trip ticket, day passes etc? I am not familiar with the travel system in Berlin. I'll have a few days free while at a conference.
Thanks

I might be going to a conference in Birmingham, UK next year. I have never been anywhere but London when I have visited the UK. What is there to see and do by using Birmingham as a base for a few days.
3 AnswersBirmingham1 decade agoWe will be in London during the general election. What disruptions , if any, can we expect?
We will be flying out of Heathrow on the 6th May. During elections, is there increased transport security, is it busier or quieter in Pubs, restaurants etc. Why do they have an election on a Thursday?

3 AnswersParis1 decade agoHow busy are the main attractions in Paris in late April?
My wife and I are going to Paris for 5 days, April 28th to May 2nd. Is this a busy time in Paris for the main attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre etc?
Also I understand that May 1st is a day when things are shut. Is this correct?
Thanks

4 AnswersParis1 decade agoI have just read an ad for Power4Home solar panel kit. Has anyone actually bought this kit/books. Is it a scam?
I have just read an ad for Power4Home solar panel kit, and was wondering if there is an independent review for it. All the reviews are obviously written by Power4Home themselves, including "comparisons" of other DIY kits. Has anyone actually bought these books and been able to come close to building a solar panel with "parts available from the hardware store" as claimed? Photovoltaic cells are expensive, yet they claim it can be done for about $200.

4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoWe will be in Paris in early May. Are there any days that are quieter for visiting Le Louvre and Eiffel Tower?
Any idea at what time the crowds start to form in the morning? We would like to avoid them if possible. I know they are very, very popular, but does it make a difference getting there before opening time? Or perhaps buying tickets before hand, or a Paris-Pass card.

2 AnswersParis1 decade agoDoes anyone know of a good cheap hotel, like a pensione in Paris. We will be there for 4 days in early May.?
We would prefer to use public transport rather than Taxi. Also, at what time do the queues start to form at the Louvre and Eiffel Tower, I have heard that they can be quite long. Are there any "quieter days" we could try?

I have about 290 "best answers", but stopped receiving notification back in April. Has anyone else been having the same problems? There have not been any error messages. I just have not received emails that I have been expecting.

I have some data; namely multiple results from blood analyses (eg 100 plasma sodiums). I need to work out the reference ranges from a distribution curve. Can you use MS excel to do this? I can't seem to find it in data analysis.
