  • Having Kanji Problems x__x?

Hey, I was trying to watch some news on NHK, and I was trying to read the subtitles provided by the video, but there was one kanji I didn't know and the person talking was mumbling so I don't know what she said. No I don't have a kanji dictionary with me. Yes I tried to find a good kanji dictionary with radical addition, but I couldn't find a good one.

Also if you know the reading of that whole kanji block as well, that'd be nice to know too. Thanks guys in advance x_x

  • Mabinogi - I'm stuck in Filia!?

I started out here since I'm an elf, however I want to go to over to... say Tir Chonaill... or pretty much anywhere on the other side of the "sea." I cannot find a way out of this desert and all these mountains though... I know there is a ferry that you can take to cross the sea but I can't get to it x_x

  • It's a Meh day: Cheer me up?

I'm a little down tonight, and I tried to find something funny, but couldn't. Meh, so - does anyone know anything that's got a crap load of humor in it?

  • What is your favourite STD?

Not necessarily favourite, since I'm sure no one really fancies them, but perhaps the most intriguing, or disgusting, and/or rare to you. This is really a serious question, although it doesn't look like it at a glance. Any

    feedback is greatly appreciated.

  • What does this poem tell you?

I just wrote this, but I'm a little tired and I'm not sure if I got the meaning through correctly. So, what does this poem mean to you?

Free-style poems, every now and then are awesome, aren't they though?

    Yeah, you're mad at me.

I can see it in your eyes, your face, your voice.

You wanted to share something with me and I

didn't give you the celebration you wanted.

I hate to lie though, you know. I hate fake happiness.

How can I be happy about something that I think will

tear you apart from limb to limb?

It's not preaching. It's the hardest thing in the world.

To tell a friend something they don't want to hear,

something you don't want to tell them, it hurts.

    Yeah, you're mad at me.

I cried after you threw all the insults at me.Why?

I asked myself deeply. Every word I typed to you

was a stab in the chest. But it was all for you.

It wasn't to satisfy my need to feel righteous.

I can only assume why you said all those things to

me. I know it was pain though.

    Yeah, I hurt you.

It happened. I lost you. I see you swimming by me,

but there's a glass screen in between us. It happens.

If I could take back all that, I wouldn't though.

I told you that... even if it hurt you

    because I love you.

I knew you'd say those words to me when I told you.

I knew I'd lose you. I knew it all would happen.

But why didn't I just not tell you?

I could have pretended to be overjoyed. But what

sort of thing is that? I'd be lying to myself, and to you.

I won't stand and do nothing. But in doing something,

it hurt us both, didn't it?

Sometimes the best friends are the ones you've lost.

  • In 1962 in America, were there (still) fears of communism?

I'm reading a book and I noticed when it was published - which was in 1962. I can tell that there are a lot of indirect references to communism through metaphors, but I'm not sure if this has any connection to the time of this book.

"A Wrinkle In Time," is the book.

  • Is it likely that Columbian Pufferfish will eat fancy guppies?

I'm thinking of getting a new 10gal tank that is closer to me than my 30 gal with pufferfish in it. I want to get both female and male, so they will mate. Any of the excess babies I get will be fed to my puffers.

They don't tend to eat fish that aren't red or pink though, just because I feed them krill and they are color sensitive with their food - dead or alive.

  • Is 14,000/year cheap tuition for a 4-year college?

I have only begun looking around for colleges and I know so little about what a good tuition price is.

Note: Regardless of the prestige of the school or it's rating, it matches my needs and my preferred major perfectly.
