I saw an orthopedic last month and now they claim that they under charged me. I have a bill from that day that shows total billed and totaled received. Do I have to pay? I called their billing dept. and they took another bill off and offered to discount the amount they claim to have under charged me. I have no insurance it was self pay.

How many people think Obama will keep shoving this health care reform on us until we give in even though the majority does not want this Bill. And how come if it's for us the public we actually have no say in it? I am one of those uninsured people who would benefit from this Bill. But I don't like it and feel uneasy about it because there is over 2000 pages and they keep adding things to get people on to Obama's side. Can this thing just die? Or will it be brought up again and again until it's passed?

In today's LI Newsday on page A6 and 7 . One of the Facts was Student Loans. What on earth does student loans have anything to do with health care? I am beginning to think we are about to become a Big Brother Country. The current government thinks the public is stupid. So let's put this in and see if we can get away with it.

Can you be accepted into an academy w/o a nomination? I have heard that nominations are hard to get. My son has an applied with the air force academy.

What is the difference between buying a term life policy from let's say Metlife or HSBC bank. If the policy were to be for the same coverage.

I am interested in getting a one on one tutor for my son for his geometry class. Perhaps an Honor student in high school or a college student. My son is in the 9th grade. His current grade in this subject is 77. And I'm hoping for at least a 90. Anyone out there currently has a tutor that they pay?

I personally think 6 cents is not enough to keep people from using it.

My son's grades have been falling because of the new people who he calls friends.And one particular girl in the group. She calls him 5x a day when she's not being punished. She throws herself at him, by letting him hug her and such in school. I've spoken to her to stop speaking to my son she says to me that she's one of his best friends and that she does'nt know what she's doing wrong. So how do you make a 13 yr see what I see?

I was brought up in a Taist/Buddhist backround so I believe that if you sin you will pay for it sooner or later. Sure we believe in repenting and doing good to pay for our sins. But if we don't change our ways we will pay and if we don't pay for our sins in uor lifetime our offsprings will pay for our sins later. so my question is if Catholics believe that God Jesus forgives ones sins does that mean everytime someone sins they can confess say 10 hail marys and then do it all over again? What of say murderers and child rapist? God will forgive them if they repent and they will be forgiven? And later they get to go to heaven? That doesn't sit well with me nor can I understand how can God Jesus be so forgiving. If bad doers can go to heaven after repenting and people who have been good all their lives go to heaven what's the incentive for the good people to be good?

What if the Native Americans demanded their land back. Could it happen? Do they have any right to demand it back and how would our government handle it. Has it ever been brought up?

My second son is 13 and lazy about his school work. He's very smart but unmotivated. I get calls from his teachers time to time about him not doing his homework. His test grades are great his class work is okay. But he doesn't like to do his homework or if he does do it it's done in a rush. This has been on-going since the 3rd grade. My older son has never had this trouble. This year is especially bad because of his attraction to girls. I have tried taking privileges away and such. But I always end up at square one.
