I have viewed YA as a valuable tool to educate many people on divergent perspectives and now there will be nowhere where people can discuss today's problems person to person.  

Yahoo has limited the ability of citizens to speak their positions while at the same time they are actively trying their best to influence the election with countless far-left articles which we are now unable to refute.  They are no longer a news organization.

I have a question about the YA Platform.  Is there some way to signal answerers that they are blocked by the person writing the "Question"?  I waste a lot of time writing thoughtful, cogent, respectful answers only to find out that the "Questioner" does not have a question but only wants to make an inflammatory political statement.

Why does Actual Llewelyn block people on YA who can present an intelligent counterpoint to his Leftist invectives?

I often writ complete, well-thought and respectful answers and then they will not post.  Is that an indication that I have been blocked by the person asking the question?

I am getting up the nerve to make a banana amber ale. A microbrewery had it and it was very good. I will get a very good Amber Ale kit (Steinfillers, Long Beach CA, but they don't ship). There are at least three tiers of cost for electricity in Southern California. Tier three is about 28 cents per Kilowatt-hour. My thought is to knock off about 80 KWH per month off my electric bill, which will lower the bill about $270 per year. So if I install a solar generator for $2700 and run just a part of my house, the return on investment is 10%. I would have no problem with installing off-grid outlets in two rooms. Anyone? Anyone?

I have several guns which were purchased more than fifty years ago, long before computers existed. Do you think the old registration records are in the national database? I just want to know which guns I will have to surrender when the government confiscates guns.
