Question about aromaticity and why less energy is released than expected.?
Hi there, hopefully you can answer my question regarding aromaticity.
In an organic chemistry textbook I own, it says that the bond requiring the most energy to break is the strongest bond. Further, it says that the most stable bonds are those that require the most energy to break. I am making the (I think fair) assumption that these bonds will therefore yield the most energy when broken. In terms of the molecule Benzene, it yields a much lower enthalpy change than expected due to its aromaticity (which I have also been taught as "aromatic stability"), If aromaticity brings increased stability to a molecule, and the most stable molecules yield the most energy when broken, shouldn't benzene yield more energy than one would expect, and not less?
any thorough response would be greatly appreciated!

1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years agoWill I get arrested if I attempt to print books at staples?
I just have staples 2 files to print, which were books to study for the mcat. But I just realized that it probably says in the first page that it is illegal to reprint the books. Should I just call them to cancel the order as soon as possible in case they get the police involved? Or should I take a chance and wait until the books are ready to see Im in the clear?

I know this song is originally for guitar, but still. Would anyone help recommend some artists or songs that are like this? I love how this song sounds on piano and I want to get back into piano.

4 AnswersHealth Care9 years agoI am inspired by theories working with such abstract ideas like time travel, black holes and the Hadroncollidr?
Unfortunately, because I know very little about what kind of career I would haveto pursue to work in these fields, I dont know what to pursue in order to work with this. Could someone please tell me?
P.S I am strong in mathematics and I really enjoy it. Is there any way that a job as a mathematician (obviously taken to the extreme level aka to harvard MIT etc) would allow me to work with such things?

Hi there, I just wanted to ask a question so others could help me. I was born and raised a roman catholic, and almost all my life I had no trouble being faithful to God, as well as believing in Christian teachings. However, about 3 months ago I noticed strange changes within my previously unbreakable faith in God. After believing in what the roman catholic church taught me for almost all my life, I began to doubt the existence of God as well as of everything taught by the R.c church. The main reason for this was oddly enough, I randomly started to formulate how the idea of Jesus christ was simply made up by someone 2012 years ago. Essentially speaking, I am finding it difficult to regain faith in the church, and I was wondering I anyone could talk to me about this and helping me regain my faith. However, please don't think I am attacking the church like a self-proclaimed atheist; I simply am slowly losing my faith and need someone to help me gain it back.
Thank you
