  • Wage garnishment laws, Iowa?

    My wages were garnished late last year and early this year. Per Iowa law they were only able to garnish a certain percent of my annual income in a calendar year and then it stopped.

    My question is, will the garnishment start back up next year or has the garnishment stopped for good?

    They have not garnished ANY wages since march of this year. Once they reached the max allowed amount in a calendar year.
